Balance by Simo is the best thing I’ve ever done to improve my overall nutrition, free up time, and reduce stress.

These freshly cooked, personally delivered meals are packed with variety and goodness — whole foods, lean proteins, seeds, grains, colourful vegetables and fruit. No mystery ingredients, no ultra-processed shortcuts, just thoughtful, nourishing food that tastes restaurant-quality every time.

The meals are full of flavour and are nutritionally balanced — you really are eating a rainbow, and my gut health has thanked me for it. The portions are generous, the variety is incredible (something I could never achieve in a single-adult household), and the value for money is outstanding.

Simo clearly cooks with care and love, and it shows. His Mediterranean-inspired dishes are consistently delicious, and he’s flexible enough to make small tweaks to suit clients’ needs. Having these meals in the fridge is such a time saver — all the nutrition and quality without the stress of shopping, prepping, and cooking. I’ve tried ALL the meal kits on the market - but they were time-consuming to cook, and very difficult to make economical for a small household - Simo’s hand delivered meals leave the meal-kit offerings in the dust!

Simo is super kind and generous (look out for the occasional inclusion of a bonus sweet treat or two!), and he really cares about his community of clients.

I was fortunate enough to win a promotion from Balance for a selection of free meals. The variety of meals was fantastic and they were all very flavoursome with a Moroccan twist, fresh, nourishing and convenient, they went down a treat in our home and I got a few nights off cooking !!😁

One of my very first meals after moving to Christchurch 5 years ago was from Simo, ordered just before Covid turned the world upside down. Fast forward to today, and I’m lucky enough to enjoy his meals several times a week at home.
