I don’t understand how these people are trained, I went in and showed them a picture of the set of nails I wanted to get which was black ombré. I knew a lot of people don’t like it so I called ahead to ask the price, they said it would be $85 which I cross checked with other stores, I knew they weren’t the best but last time I came the nails I got turned out fine so I thought I’d try it again. However, my acrylic set was so much shorter than I wanted because I had literally a second to tell how long I wanted before she started cutting the nails and then on top of that the are all crooked and shaped wrong as well. The ombré isn’t even good, it almost looks like a solid black blob on the top of the nail… They also nipped my cuticles with the drill and cut the sides of my fingers with the file - WHICH HAS NOW BECOME REALLY BADLY INFECTED- like I get it if they told me they weren’t willing to do them due to the difficulty but crooked nails, being charged more than what I was quoted and infected fingers was definitely not worth it. I didn’t even have time to get a refund because as soon as the lady finished the waved me out of my seat to sweep and vacuum (after me waiting and hour to be helped) I’m so upset

Read moreCame here to get a soak off and acrylics. Soak off was fine, the lady asked how long I wanted them I said medium she proceeded to cut them and the first one was really short. I said not that short and she said okay but kept cutting them all short. When the other lady came to do the acrylic she could tell I wasn’t happy, I don’t like to be rude or waste their time so I said it’s fine just carry on. She kept pressuring me saying are you sure? That she can’t do anything once she starts the acrylic I said I didn’t want them that short and if it was okay we take the tips off. This is where she became really rude saying I need to pay extra if I wanted them longer (they were a few millimeters longer than my natural nails) she then started shouting in her language at the other workers, stormed off and practically threw the soak off bowl on the table and said here! Put your hands in! And walked off. Very very rude and made the entire shop feel very awkward. The tips soaked off and I went to wash my hands. I said not to worry I don’t want them anymore and asked for my money back, she got the money from the till and threw it on the table. I’m not paying someone my money if they’re rude to me. Would not recommend, terrible...
Read moreI had a really unpleasant experience at Botany Everlast Nails. When I sat down, the technician barely spoke to me, and instead only to talked to her coworkers in another language the entire time. I felt completely ignored throughout the appointment. Every time I asked for a change or gave instructions, whether it was the shape of the nail or the length, she would roll her eyes and sigh really loud. I work in healthcare, so I asked her to shorten my nails, but she kept saying no and telling me that they were “fine.” I had to ask multiple times until she finally agreed to cut them shorter, even though this is something I’m paying for and should have control over. Then she applied a colour I didn’t really like and never once asked me if I was happy with it or if I wanted to make any changes. I had to ask three times before she finally changed it and she had a very bad attitude. She also had a really hard grip on my hand, almost as if she was trying to intentionally squeeze it. She kept staring at me and talking to her friends, making me feel even more uncomfortable and unwelcome. I do not usually leave negative reviews, but this appointment made me...
