Our Community Butcher Settling into a neighborhood requires you to find key bits and pieces that make life just a little bit easier. A local dairy, a vege shop and (especially if you're a family of 6 that explodes to 20 at a moments notice) a REALLY GOOD butcher. Richard and his team fits the bill on so many levels. Nothing is too hard and is so schooled in both the meat business and the art of taking care of customers. I was under pressure to find a specific cut and better-half was trying to suggest some alternatives until Richard jumped in and said he'd check the back if they had anything like what I needed. He didn't have anything ready to go but minutes later it was sliced, rolled, strung, and packaged for cooking a few hours later. Clearly I'm a fan for life. Pop in and I'm confident you will become a fan too. Just do me a favour and leave a pork loin for when I'm back there. Try the ribs instead. Long and short......

The quality of the meat is great and even better was the service. I recommend Wholesale Meats Onehunga online or instore. I ordered from Wholesale Meats online as we were locked down. My order arrived the following day. I was originally disappointed as they didn't supply the full quantities that I ordered (I wasn't overcharged) and this left me short of food for the family and now having to make a trip to the supermarket which was constantly out of stock during Level 4 and painful. I used the contact form to express my disappointment and received a response the following day from Richard. He immediately remedied the situation by topping up the extra quantities and emailing an invoice which I paid online.
