The Bramble — Restaurant in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

Tonight was the worst night. Dan, the bar person/manager needs to reflect on his behavior towards us as paying customers and "accused" myself and my partner as locals of Onehunga for not paying the drinks ks we ordered. His assumption and judgment as business representative of Bramble was not customer eccentric and acted very aggressively without proof! He did not seek to clarify in private but loudly yelled at us as we were walking out...(everybody in the room heard) and accused us for "not paying" our bill...! which we did before our drinks were even served. We had to show him "proof of payment" via my phone but still hesitant that he was wrong and professional. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED! Came in with a group of friends, the young lady working was absolutely wonderful and friendly. We were just about to order as the male bartender came, as soon as he saw us he immediately started frowning and looked extremely angry. He refused to serve us claiming a few of are friends were "swaying" when we were clearly not drunk as we had just come from dinner. I don't want to claim the race card as sometimes people might not be having a good day but this was blatantly obvious that he did not want to serve us because we are brown. He made is extremely obvious to us and the other customers around that he didn't want our kind in the bar, he made us feel very uncomfortable and angry, completely ruining our good vibes.
