My choice for best pizza in Wellington, hands down. The perfect streak of 5 star ratings (at the time I’m writing this review anyway) is well deserved. The quality of ingredients, the preparation and presentation are all fantastic. Favourite pizza is probably the prosciutto one, the hint of honey along with the goat cheese is divine. First time going to Araucaria last night, and I have to admit, my taste buds had the feeling I was in southern Europe again enjoying the high quality I had missed. We went last night and had the Prosciutto which has goat cheese and honey and a Spicy Salami plus a Tiramisu. Pizzas were massive and enjoyed the rest this morning. Everything made fresh, excellent base and no bloating afterwards. There is 60 minute parking directly across the road, seats inside or take it down to the beach. I am short of superlatives to describe Araucaria's pizza, it tastes authentic, the dough is off the hook, and the ingredients are both classic and conservatively creative . So far, pizza Pomodoro had been the undisputed king of pizza in Wellington for me, but I think the king has been dethroned.
