Really super awesome friendly helpful staff working in this Library, They have great selection of music and DVDs, if you want to return to the good old days and get out a DVD. Or some CDs 😎. Of course so many books to choose from!! You can buy Wellington city council rubbish bags here and recycle bin for bottles, You can not buy a wheelie bin here. Also right at the main entrance to the library before you walk in is the Citizens Advice bureau.

Very cool library! I came during the afternoon and the place was quiet, perfect for journaling. There are some cozy seats and sofas (I recommend the blue one in front of the counter. You get nice afternoon sunshine). The kid section is also wonderful! And the staff seem really friendly.

This is such an amazing library and such an important part of the Newtown community. They offer so many services like cheap recycling bags, info on community events and an amazing space to work and read. All the staff are lovely and so helpful. Special shout out to Sasha for taking the time to remember the people that come by and make the library feel...

The library needs a toilet. There is no where suitable for children to go. Parents often resort to changing nappies on the library floor. There are toilets outside next to the playground but they are often filthy and unhygienic as unfortunately they are used badly by some in Wellington's...
