Gramercy — Restaurant in Wellington

All their stuff is delicious, love their baguettes and ham and cheese croissants. Certainly one of the best bakeries in Wellington… but not for their service. Have had a few instances now where staff have been quite rude. The Eftpos machine was down a while ago and once back up and running they let the person who came after me in the line pay first (they were friendly with the staff member so not sure if a friend or regular customer). Gramercy in Berhampore shops . An absolute gem. Bakery to the front, it's so good to see the breads being made, and the people are super-friendly, and the space is beautiful, clean, architecturally MINT and experience I recommend most highly. The French Onion Tart would put any quiche to shame, the Jalapeno and cheddar croissant was sublime and the coffee very good. Service amazing, these people really know what they're doing. Im french and I cannot recommend enough this bakery ! Best croissants in New Zealand that I came across, actually better than many in France, every bite is bringing me back childhood memories... Also they do the only true chocolate almond croissant in NZ with heaps of frangipane and almonds. Even the unholy ham&gruyère and jalapeño&cheddar croissants are delicious ! Actually nothing from them has ever disapointed me. Breads are also next level, especially the seeds one, my personal favorite. Thanks for providing real french bakery...
