Was here on the evening of Wednesday 7th June 2023. After standing looking at the menu board for a while, I was going to sit in and eat, but decided I really couldn't be bothered listening to 3 of the girls talking loudly and laughing loudly enough that I knew I didn't want to stay. I was served by another young small built girl who was trying to learn the job but I believe struggled with taking my order because of the distraction from the noise of the other 3 girls. Anyway I ordered as a 'takeaway', paid and left. I couldn't help but wonder why the smaller Turkish place two doors along had 4 or people in it yet Anatolia had no one but myself. 🤔 The food I got was the lamb and chips and the bread and dips. It wasn't bad however the lamb obviously seemed a bit old or reheated or something. Value for money - it was ok I guess but not something I would go back for. Photos attached. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me.

I can Highly recommend this place. The Authenticity of the food takes you to Turkey.. with amazing Kebabs to Gourmet Sandwiches that fill your mouth with an explosive Turkish sensation. The price is perfect for the amazing quality of food, definitely worth every penny. The restaurant is in a great location with a peaceful atmosphere, though the noise can be a bit loud and the wait can be a little.. it's worth it. The staff are great and very friendly with really good Hygiene standards. I will be back here again for sure

The service at Cafe Anatolia is non- existent. I ordered through there kiosk and no greeting whatsoever. It's a shame since no frill meat and rice that I ordered is quite good and tasty. No wonder people don't want to dine in. I should have read the reviews before ordering in. Feeling like I wasted my $19.00. Wouldn't be coming back.

I can Highly recommend this place. The Authenticity of the food takes you to Turkey.. with amazing Kebabs to Gourmet Sandwiches that fill your mouth with an explosive Turkish sensation. The price is perfect for the amazing quality of food, definitely worth every penny. The restaurant is in a great location with a peaceful atmosphere, though the noise can be a bit loud and the wait can be a little.. it's worth it. You come across a lot of cafes/restaurants around NZ who claim to be catering Turkish cuisine but you figure out it is something different only once you taste the food, this place though is an authentic Turkish café. We went here about six months ago on our way back to Wellington from Taupo, I talked to the owner in Turkish as I am ethnic Turkish  I thought to try their Baklava and it was genuinely what you’d find in Istanbul. I also dropped by recently when I was driving past Whanganui but this time the baklava wasn’t as large, although cheaper, but I wished I had got the same as what was on the picture. If you want to try something authentic Turkish try this place, the atmosphere is also very beautiful, the put calming...
