Ohope Lookout — Local services in North Island

What an impressive view of such a magestic coastline. From up here you can really appreciate the vastness of the unrelenting Pacific ocean against the rugged coasts driftwood laiden sands.......... Can almost hear a conche shell being blown in the wind, and imagine giant Waka being paddled in along the beach.

Well, I can definitely recommend the views to be had from here as almost emotional if your a Kiwi for sure ! ..... and if your not it'll still bring a tear to your eye on a clear day with all the reflection from the ocean !

tl;dr - don't bother.

As you come down the hill and can see the ocean stretching out along the coast you'd be forgiven for thinking that this lookout has awesome views but the growth of the trees in front of the platform blocks most of the good view. There's a bin and space to park a few cars.
