Pollard Park — Local services in South Island

A nice spacious park, with a 1k gym course of its own. It's located quite close to the city and offers a good walk with scenic views. It has quite a few gardens with special plants and trees. It's a nice place for early morning walks as well as evening walks. The song of birds, the flow of water and the rustle of leaves moving in the autumn wind make it a perfect place to relax with family or for some self time. There's a kids playground, half of which is currently under construction. The park is well maintained and feels like a good spot to fall in love with nature. There are also multiple entry/exit points which make the park more accessible and convenient. I guess there's also a golf course around, but am not entirely sure about it. It has a cool playground for kids to play on and have fun. There is also a BBQ area, which seems to get a lot of use as it's always occupied, which is awesome. Pollard Park is situated right next to a golf course as well. It's definitely the biggest park in Blenheim and has always been beautifully decorated and well looked after. There are public toilets and also a few picnic tables to sit at. Love the beautiful big trees as you drive in the entrance and park up! Pollared Park is an oasis of peace and tranquility right in the heart of Blenheim. The small stream meanders through the park, providing a home for the ducks and a place of peace to sit and think as the water flows past. The huge century old trees provide shade and somewhere to keep cool on the hot summer days. There is a childrens playground too, which after recent upgrading, can now also be enjoyed by children who have a disability.
