Firstly - food is fantastic. We come back repeatedly for the pizza alone. It’s genuinely mine and my husband’s favorite pizza place out west. Secondly - the customer service at the street feast location is remarkably subpar. I have worked in hospitality for more than a decade, I know what bare minimum service looks like and the customer service here is worse than bare minimum. I don’t want to be snarky. I mean this as genuine feedback to improve the overall experience. I hope the owner appreciates that. The staff need to greet customers. We’ve been more than 8 times and not once have we been greeted. We approach the till and nothing. They completely ignore us. Pretend we don’t exist. Never any smiles. Never any warmth. No kindness or service of any kind. The staff truly stare blankly at us and punch the order through without a word. I promise with more focus on the service this spot would thrive. I am at the point of not returning again because I’m so appalled by the consistent lack of warmth by every. Single. Server. For the staff - you will enjoy your shifts more if you fake it till ya make it. Even faking a smile for a customer will bring your own mood up over time. A simply “hey guys!” In your fakest customer service voice will go a long way. Keep up the fab food, but please for the love of all things good work on your customer service, or hire people who are more chirpy/capable of warmth at...
Read moreWe ordered from the Stumpy's in Titirangi as a birthday treat after having their pizzas previously at catered events and them being delicious. However, we were disappointed with the takeaway version - we ordered a meatfeast and there was just way too much ham on it, the ham was about an inch thick on the top and you couldn't really pick the pizza up without it all falling off, it also had onion on which was really thickly sliced and I'd requested chili flakes which they hadn't put on, it was very average and probably wouldn't bother ordering from...
Read moreMeat calzone was a great pick to change it up from a typical pizza. Pizza dough 'banbinos' were advertised as pizza dough balls with herb butter which were exactly as they said, yet I was still hoping for something a little extra in flavour for them kind of like if you get garlic knots on the side at a Sal's, they feel unique enough from your pizza to have them as a side. All in all still, that calzone was exactly what we wanted and would stop in...
