Review of The Bagh Restaurant on MM Alam Road
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you're craving an authentic desi food experience in Lahore, The Bagh Restaurant on MM Alam Road is the place to be! The restaurant offers a cozy and welcoming ambiance, making it perfect for family dinners, casual outings, or even a quick bite. The traditional decor and warm vibe add to the overall charm of the place.
The food here is simply exceptional! The Malai Boti is a must-try—succulent, creamy, and perfectly grilled. The Mutton Karahi is rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, while the Mutton Chops are tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavors. For chicken lovers, the Chicken Tikka and Chicken Breast are absolute winners—marinated to perfection and grilled just right. Pair these dishes with their refreshing Mint Raita, and you’re in for a treat!
When it comes to desserts, The Bagh truly shines. The Gulab Jamun is soft, syrupy, and melts in your mouth, while the Kheer is creamy, aromatic, and perfectly sweetened. The Ras Malai is another standout—light, fluffy, and soaked in deliciously sweet milk.
The service is excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who ensure a seamless dining experience. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get.
Overall, The Bagh Restaurant is a gem on MM Alam Road. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this place offers an unforgettable desi food experience. Highly recommended!
Pro Tip: Visit during off-peak hours to avoid the crowd, as it’s a popular spot!

Read moreThe dining experience was extremely disappointing. The food was okay ish but definitely not worth the rates that were being charged. The worst part was the service, we were a group of 15 occupying three tables. The restaurant is run like a roadside restaurant with no care for cleanliness or dining experience. We received dirty crockery and cutlery and had to wait another 10 minutes to get clean ones. The staff kept piling dishes and plates in-between courses without removing previous ones - mind you, the tables are small and not meant for at a time multi course dining. We had to specifically ask to remove before we were served main course after starters. Same goes for glasses and used cutlery. When asked for dessert, we were offered a menu with at least 8 options listed. Everybody in our party picked a dessert they liked, however, when it came to ordering, we were informed that only two out of the 8 options were available, when asked why were we handed the menus then, the response offered was that because we asked for dessert menu. Then came time for tea, our party was served tea in phases, some of us got tea within 10 minutes, the others had to wait twenty minutes. For some reason, they forgot to serve me tea at all and my cup showed when everybody else was gathering things to leave. The ladies restroom was no more 2 feet away from where some of our guests were sitting. The bathrooms were not well maintained either. Overall, very underwhelming and dissapointing experience. Extremely overpriced for what Baagh restaurant has to offer. Will not return or...

Disappointing Experience at Bagh Restaurant
I recently visited Bagh Restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. The food was subpar, and I left feeling disappointed and unsatisfied.
Soup: A Sorry Affair
The soup we ordered was a major disappointment. The ingredients looked old and wilted, and the flavor was completely off. It lacked the freshness and richness that a good soup should have.
Karahi: Not Up to the Mark
The karahi was another dish that failed to impress. It lacked the depth of flavor and spice that a good karahi should have. The meat was overcooked, and the sauce was bland.
BBQ Platter: Somewhat Okay
The BBQ platter was the only dish that showed some promise. The meats were cooked well, and the flavors were somewhat balanced. However, it was nothing exceptional and didn't make up for the other disappointing dishes.
Biryani: Spicy and Tasteless
The biryani was a major letdown. It was spicy, but the heat overpowered any other flavors that might have been present. The rice was overcooked, and the dish lacked the richness and complexity that a good biryani should have.
Conclusion
Overall, my experience at Bagh Restaurant was disappointing. The food was subpar, and the service was nothing exceptional. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant. With so many other great options available, I would recommend others to avoid Bagh Restaurant as well. Not worth of...
