I think this is the second time I have been asked to review the Galleria Bronowice. And so, there should be one correction: There are in fact two full sets of bicycle tools - to full Małopolska government standard on the northern side. But, only one of the pumps is working (on the NE corner it is okay). Except for that one pump, everything in the Galleria is in good condition. And, the design - for cyclist and local people walking in - it is deceptively simple - and especially for those who walk in with their children on scooters or bikes, and are not in a big hurry. It is a place that will grow on you, until you realize, the designer took exquisite care. And got it exactly right for you to come on a Sunday, even when the Galleria must be closed by law - and when it is shady, on that northern side, and maybe with some teenagers playing basketball. There is a bus terminus right there, as it happens. Access for cars via highway 79 at the NW entrance to the city. And car parking within the Galleria, essentially on the southern side. The Galleria is hidden away a little in a precinct with three or four of the biggest furniture and hardware stores. It is not to big or too small; nothing too flash - there are not the super big name small brand name shops, except perhaps Salewa (in an "urban" guise) - but everything else you might need for everyday use. And with everything based over the Polish Auchan supermarket/hypermarket - which is a bit of a world into itself. Bur that is also, neither too big, or too small.. There are two times in a week when that gets somewhat overtly and over busy. Otherwise, inside it is just exquisitely - and unknowingly - and just as especially designed as the outside. If you can...
Read moreNot recommended for anyone who is afraid of covid-19, don't go there 80% people there (that includes the the higher up who are in charge) don't were mask, social distancing is non nonexistent, the placement of the sanitizer dispenser near any entrance are a joke, cause its they are hidden and out of the way so if don't pay attention you will miss them. Children are ruing around in side with bike's or skate boards and the security does nothing about it. The information place is useless cause non the people are working there don't know where stuff and their English is bad (on the level of a 5 year old child learning it for the first time) or non existent at all and they look like "how dare you ask me these questions just go away" and the map screens all over the mall are either 1. frozen 2.got a blue screen 3. don't work at all. How was this place allowed to be...
Read moreIt is a very nice shopping mall in the Kraków area that definitely should be visited if you are passing through Kraków. It is very modern with wide hallways. There are many different stores from a huge variety of brands and types. This shopping is situated in a very developed area of the city and around the mall (in a walkable distance) there are many big stores like IKEA and Castorama, which are definitely valuable to visit.
It is very easy to access to the shopping using the public transportation, mainly the buses. Some of them connect the city center (Rynek Głowny) with the shopping, passing through important areas of Kraków.
More than that, the outside area of the Bronowice Mall is very nice and with good infrastructure to enjoy a afternoon by taking a walk or playing with you...
