We went on a 2 hour trip around the river estuary - my husband and I and our grown-up son. The boat was very comfortable and the skipper navigated us smoothly along waterways that would have been impossible to discover without the team. We loved the scenery and were especially excited to spot spoonbills and a flamingo for the first time, even though we hadn't taken a specific birdwatching tour. Our guide explained many things to us about the local people, the geography, the history, the gastronomy :) It was a perfect way to see a very different side to inland Aveiro. Thank you for everything, Sterna team, you are great...

Thank you so much, sterna team. If we are back in Portugal, we will be seeing you again! PS we found some piri piri hot sauce and are now...

A very smooth and comfortable ride, despite a strong-running tide and quite a lot of wind. A great way to learn more about this area -- we hope to come back for some birdwatching...
