It all started with a call from my most precious list contact, where do we dinner tonight? Oh well, there's only one new place to try in Aveiro, Laguna. I know that anywhere where Chef Armando put is hands on will have very good food for sure, but this time, oh boy. The place location, the boat experience, the staff professionalism, the decor, and then the freshness of the food and the way that it is cooked gave us just another 5* experience on a Chef's Armando place. Go-ahead and try it, don't even look at the list, just ask for his suggestion and you'll be happy, I was, and my other half was as well. Beautiful night in the hottest Aveiro restaurant...

The restaurant is very nice and looks really good. Food is tasty. The thing we strongly didn’t like - when we set they bring us a bread basket with a bit of appetizers (olive oil, butter and pate). It was tasty and looked like an in the house thing, we weren’t told we need to pay for it. We were unpleasantly surprised when we saw each of this appetizers in the check in the end. Each appetizer cost 3 €, bread basket 2.50 and in sum it’s 11,50 € which we didn’t plan to spend!

You should warn that this is not in the house and guests should pay for this! Normal restaurants often do this...

An outstanding dinner spot! The service and attentiveness were unmatched. The meals were divine - the starters in particular were of note with an ingenious fusion of traditional Portugal and Mediterranean flavours that were unforgettable. They also offer an exceptional wine menu that pair perfectly with the dishes on offer. I also cannot rave more about the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Elsa in particular provided us with the most outstanding service I have experienced in Portugal. It would be a loss if you didn’t visit...
