București Mall, also known as Vitan Mall, is one of the oldest and most established shopping centers in Bucharest. Even though it has been around for many years, the mall has kept a modern and refreshed atmosphere that makes it a pleasant place to visit. Its location is very convenient, close to the city center, and easily accessible by public transport or car. Parking is available and fairly spacious, which is a big plus in Bucharest.

The mall offers a good selection of shops, from popular international fashion brands to local stores, as well as electronics, cosmetics, and home products. While it is not as large as some of the newer malls in the city, it feels less overwhelming and more personal. Not a massive mall but you'll be surprised how much time you'll spend here. The place is not crowded when we visited. There is a cinema and a nice hair salon left to it (There was friendly customer service here). On the 3rd floor, are lot of restaurants, mainly fast food but we've been at the Turkish one. Additionally, for shopping lovers yiu will find branded clothing stores. At the lower floor is a big supermarket with winery store in it. Also, a pharmacy is inside this mall. But don't expect that all store clerks would speak English. For example, we get annoyed after buying shoes at Zara, the salesman didn't removed carefully the attached tags from said shoes which caused alarms at the entrance when we're exiting. The guard prompted us go back to the cashier where same staff started to do soemething with the computer and finally returning money back and taking back the shoes. We tried to tell more few times about that problem and finally hr understood. It's miscommunication because of English...

Mall Vitan - cel mai vechi, cel mai invechit in norme si cel mai pet-unfriendly ever. Evitati sa calcati pragul Mall-ului Vitan daca sunteti insotiti de animalute chihuahua sau altele asemanatoare. Ei traiesc inca in Epoca Pietrei, in preistorie, cand omul nu era prieten cu cainele. Nu-i fortati sa se civilizeze, pt ca devin extrem de agresivi. Firma de paza a Mall-ului Vitan se ocupa cu detectarea si anihilarea acestor "fiare" de 4kg si a stapanilor lor, pe care ii trateaza ca pe niste autentici infractori. Culmea este ca stateam impreuna cu catelusul meu pe o banca retrasa, intr-un colt, fix pe palierul cu magazinul pt animale, de unde asteptam pe cineva sa ia ceva rapid. Insa, in acest rastimp, bodyguardul, in lipsa de alta activitate, s-a sesizat si i s-a pus pata pe fiara mea de 4kg si pe mine, ca stapan al ei. A venit, i-a pus mana pe botic sa il provoace, si apoi a inceput sa ma acuze ca l-a muscat, ca e periculos, ca trebuie sa parasesc incinta, insa strict escortat de el, tratandu-ma ca pe un infactor. Incalificabil! Ba mai mult, a mimat nu stiu ce apel la Politie, indimidandu-ma ca a chemat Politia (pt un chiuhuahua cu stapan). Cred ca, in situatia data, cel mai indreptatit sa cheme Politia eram eu, care eram abuzat si hartuit pt simplul fapt ca am trecut pragul acestui Mall ca sa ii fac vanzare, ceea ce nu voi mai face vreodata, nici macar neinsotit de catelus. La finalul escortarii, inainte de a ma scoate afara pe usa Mall-ului cu bietul animalut speriat in brate, i-am adesat doar aceste cuvinte: "Sper sa ne civilizam si noi vreodata!" Replica bodyguardului incantat de isprava lui i-a tradat frustrarea, nemultumirea, of-ul pt care plateam eu si catelusul meu: "Cu asa Presedinte?!" Asadar, domnul bodyguard aplica corectii si lua masuri punitive cu exces de zel in exercitiul functiunii pt clientii care i se pareau dumnealui ca nu corespund convingerilor politice pe care le nutrea. Altfel spus, facea politica in exercitiul functiunii. Acum nu stiu a cui politica: a firmei de paza pe care o reprezenta zelos sau pe a Mall-ului?!? Oricum ar fi, acest comportament agresiv, tendentios si abuziv pt mine, ca cetatean si client, nu face cinste imaginii acestui Mall. Este o dovada evidenta de lipsa de civilizatie, de lipsa de deschidere, de lipsa de educatie, dar si un act grav de DISCRIMINARE. Da, acest bodyguard mi-a aplicat un tratament DISCRIMINATOR si hartuitor pentru ca indraznisem sa intru in Mall pt a cumpara ceva pentru animalutul de care eram insotit. Concluzia: Mall-ul Vitan nu este pet-friendly, dimpotriva, prigonitor aspru al animalutelor Chiar nu inteleg de ce mai adapostiti acel magazin cu animale a subsol.
