Ristorante DaGiulio — Restaurant in Bucharest

Avoid this restaurant if you don't want to spoil your mood. I went two evenings behind with 2 people and ordered an appetizer - a caprese salad with focaccia bread, and for the second course a lasagna and a carbonara, and at the end we ordered a dessert. To drink, I ordered a draft beer, a lemonade and a glass of rose wine, which I expressly requested to be brought with the 2nd course.Ever since I placed the order, I started to get confused if I had chosen this restaurant well.

1. When I finished ordering, the waitress asked me in a downright intriguing tone - "Is that all you order?"
2. the second event already lit my light bulb - after about 10 minutes, the waitress brought the caprese salad, the beer and the ordered lemonade, but instead of focaccia bread, without asking me, she throws a basket with 3 not very fresh buns on the table. justifying that he no longer has focaccia bread and replaced it with buns.
3. We waited other .... 45 minutes and finally she arrives with the 2 menus ordered but without bringing the glass of rose wine ordered. I wait before eating for her to come with the glass of wine, but the surprise does not come. I turn my head after the waitress and notice with amazement that she is behind me having an informal discussion with the owner of the restaurant who happened to sit down with someone else at the table behind me. I remind the waitress in presence with the patron that she forgot to bring me the glass of wine and she tells me that she will bring very fast. Stupor! instead of bringing the glass of wine, she continues his conversation with the patron, who doesn't even care that a customer is still waiting for his order. I waited another 5 minutes and in the end I served the lasagna without the glass of wine coming. After about 15 minutes, the waitress also arrives with the glass of wine but too late... I had finished serving the 2nd course and politely told her that it was already too late and she could take it back because I had finished dinner.
4. in the end, disgusted by this way, regardless of the service, I requested to bring the payment note so that I could leave immediately. She brought me the bill and I was stunned again - the focaccia bread appeared on the bill, although she had justified to me that he had no more bread and had brought me 3 buns probably recovered from another table. CONCLUSION - if you want to spend a pleasant Sunday evening, look for another restaurant, because here you leave disgusted and...

Este a doua oară că sunt dezamăgită. Prima dată înainte de pandemie, a doua oară chiar aseară. Preparatele sunt italienești doar cu numele. Nu doar că nu au savoarea reputată, ci nu au gust deloc sau gustul este de-a dreptul neplăcut. Am comandat paste (de casă) cu ciuperci "crăițe“, paste cu hribi și cârnați, espresso și panna cotta. Ciupercile "crăițe" au avut exact gustul ciupercilor tăiate, din cele mai ieftine conserve. Sunt convinsă că au fost aruncate direct în tigaie, din conservă - am simțit gustul de zeamă in care au fost conservate. Au costat 45 de lei. Hribii din al doilea fel probabil că erau vechi, ținuți cu anii în congelator, pentru că nu miroseau a nimic - nici măcar a ciuperci obișnuite. Parcă erau sintetici. Aceeași impresie o avusesem și în urmă cu un an când am comandat același lucru. Cârnații erau doar pasta de cârnați, dar nu asta m-a deranjat, ci, din nou, bineînțeles, gustul - doar sarea s-a simțit în ei. Felul a costat 48 de lei. Panna cotta sunt convinsă că era din praf de budincă. Am comandat "cu fructe de pădure". Am primit un jeleu vișiniu, tot de la pungă, lipit literalmente deasupra. Oribil, parcă mestecam hârtie. Nu am mâncat niciodată "mâncare italienească" mai proastă. Nici cafeaua nu a fost în regulă. Servesc espresso scurt, dar fără apă (pe care trebuie să o cumperi separat), ori, dacă nu ești atent să precizezi dinainte, te alegi cu un espresso lung. În concluzie, cred că nu folosesc nimic proaspăt în bucătărie, nici măcar usturoi. Asta nu este bucătărie italiană, nici măcar românească.
