Resto Aperto — Restaurant in Bucharest

I am not gonna eat from them ever again. The last two experiences were very very bad. First time I ordered at home and the carbonara pasta was one of the worst I ever had, but I let it pass thinking that it was a mistake, but the second time I called and ordered two pizza saying that I am gonna pick them up from the restaurant. I did pick them up, did not verify the order and when I arrived at home I discovered they gave me the wrong pizza(quattro formaggi instead of capricciosa ehich was better for my kid). Long story short, because I ordered by phone, It was my word against theirs so nothing else to do. Therefore, resto aperto has both some bad tasting food as well as poor service. Perfect combo to never choose them again.

Later edit (after the restaurant responded): I think it is rude and it shows a FAKE lack of interest for the client's opinion if you respond by asking them to write to you with more details. IF the review doesn't have enough details, you should write what details it is missing. You don't just ask the reviewer to give more details and you don't ask the reviewer to spend his time writing to you. No, if you are really concerned about the client's satisfaction, then the ball is in your court and YOU have to do something to improve...

I think this was the fifth time me and my girlfriend came back to this restaurant and the first time we reviewed them 5 stars because it was great.

This time not so much and the thing we were afraid most – that the quality will drop after the opening period ends – happened. We ordered Agnolotti with Beef and Calypso Sauce, Delizie with Mozarella di Bufala and Cannelloni with Beef Ragu (Lasagna was out that day).

The Agnolotti, a dish which we ordered in the past has nothing to do with our first experience. The Calypso Sauce was totally difirent in a bad way, with some uncooked vegetables in it (garlic) and the meet inside the Agnolotti tasted bad. In the Cannelloni what struck me from the first bite was the same bad taste of meet, only worst in this dish. I was afraid to eat it because I suspected something might be altered. The Delizie were the only ok dish from this experience.

Covid limits our choice of restaurant to those with a terrace. So we tried Aperto at Vitan Mall. The place looked inviting, clean and the tables seemed reasonably apart. The menu was electronic - you had to scan a code with your phone. We ordered pizza and pasta and the food was great. The pizza had a thin crust and tasted amazing. The personnel there was friendly, helpful and attentive. So why did I give it 3 stars? Because as great as the food was, we couldn't wait to get out of there. As non-smokers we were forced to inhale cigarette smoke all throughout our meal, since everyone around us smoked. Including the lady with the baby who sat in the direct path of her smoke. We could not move to another table and our daughter preffered to visit the Mall. I know the law allows smoking in open spaces and unfortunately this means that non-smokers are unwelcomed in terraces. We will have to wait for the pandemic to lose its grip on the world before...
