I visited Lamis Bistro with my family and some relatives on a saturday morning for a brunch. The place was beautifully buzzing with so many diners, for every body seemed happy and comfortable hanging out with their friends. The setting of the place was simple and casual, yet very creative with the kitchen utensils used as chandeliers of whisks hanging down from the ceiling and other spotlights of a Grater top- shades and soup- ladles designed and mounted to the walls to hold dangling vines. I didn't get the chance to enjoy the music of Feiruz, because it was close to prayer time I guessed. I stepped out to the terrace where customers got to enjoy the sun and fresh air, but to me it was too sunny that it would have spoiled the gathering. I chose to sit inside where the table was surrounded with leather benches by the wall and single chairs lining the other sides. We held a rich menu and ordered manóucheh zaatar, manóucheh cheese, baleelah, egg omlette with sausage, and kofta pie topped with mozarella cheese, and a tiny pot of cooked Lava beans (the lebanese style). The dishes were served well along with hot pita bread; and the food was so tasty. I found the waiters friendly and always available taking orders. However, the tea arrived warm and not hot, and the kofta pie came very late when we were almost done and about to pay and leave. That was somehow close to satisfying although the supporting staff were many. I would say: the unusual crowd was to blame. All in all, it was a good experience. I would think of visiting the place again but in a different day when it is less crowded and the service is prompt and pleasing. At the end I'd like to congratulate Lamis Bistro's owners, management and staff, and I wish them the best in this business and I hope they keep up with the good service and...
Read moreTo start off, their decorations were something else & very homey. The food was fresh & delicious except for the warag 3enab, it was over cooked to the point of being very smelly & we ended up canceling it. Shakshuka doesn’t deserve the name for it because it was just omelet with tomato sauce. Falafel was one of the best I’ve tried in riyadh & manaqesh turkey with cheese (it’s mozzarella btw) was light & fulling! You’ll love their Karak tea if you like it to be extra sweet. They also have a variety of healthy breads freshly baked. As for the staff.. I’m kinda disappointed. The place was a full house & there was only 4 waiters which made them take longer than you’d hope to take your order. Personally, waiters don’t matter that much to me as long as I’m enjoying the food. Prices are really reasonable. Overall, I’d come back again for this outstanding...
Read moreWent for breakfast yesterday. Good food and the chandeliers are cool. I liked the fattoush manousha the best, I definitely haven’t tried anything like that before. The falafel, spicy potatoes and vine leaves were delicious. The foul was alright and so was the hummus. Orange juice is good I just wish it didn’t have so much seeds in it. I love that they served a mini plate of veggies, definitely complimented everything else we had. Portions are good, I went there with a friend and we were both stuffed by the end of this meal. Prices are decent. We sat outside because if was too loud inside with kids. The weather was nice so that worked out for us.
Overall, I would go back...
