I Love My Laundry — Local services in City Centre

Would not send my clothes here if you value your clothing. Plus side is, you may come home with clothing that doesn't belong to you... I've had clothes shrunk, multiple times, more than 7+ items go missing, 5 of which were in the same load. Absolutely no apology by the staff managers , quite the contrary in fact.. was told if I am unhappy to "rather take my clothes to a dry-cleaner", or "oh you should have written down a list", or "oh then buy your own washing machine". Approximately R4000 worth of damages done... And their response? "Oh sorry these things happen, we will do your laundry for free next time". You must think I've fallen out a tree and hit every branch on the way down, if you think I'll be doing business with you. Was also told "oh we don't know what shrinks or not", surely that's why you're in the industry..

This has happened with my family's clothes too. It's not just the branch, I've tried multiple franchises, each as Kak as one another.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CLOTHES HERE, unless of course you're planning on clearing out some space in your closet and spend your morning fighting with them.

At this rate it literally is cheaper for me to buy a new washing machine each time I go.

Use at your own peril. I'd trust some of the homeless people in Cape town more, with washing my clothes, than I trust these guys.

I have used many, many laundry services in Cape Town. I live in Gardens and just cannot keep up with my family's washing needs, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs and working full time in the office. I Love my Laundry is by far the best service I have ever received and their prices are unbeatable. On a Friday afternoon, I was stressed and desperate for same day Saturday laundry service, (18kg of washing, to be precise) and via whatsapp, was messaged within minutes, with a friendly, can do attitude. Not to mention the timing communication, of pick up and drop off, being on spot. Big thanks to Blessed and Chris for their amazing service, you guys are gems. Now, I have finally found a reliable, cost-effective laundry service and don't have to worry about always trying to look for a better service somewhere...

Weird payment system, they wait until the day of the delivery to send invoice. In my case the delivery guy came while I was having a meeting and did not bring the card machine, the guy on the other end of the phone was then pestering me to make payment and furnish proof immediately while I was in the middle of the work call when he had only invoiced me like less than 20 minutes before the delivery guy arrived. Also the quality was terrible second time around clothes just seem to be hastily bundled and not ironed at all. Ironing of shirt collars is disgusting really. Some clothes look faded as well.
