Dear Owners of The Lucky Bread Company, I wanted to take a moment to commend you on the exceptional quality of your staff at The Lucky Bread Company in Castle Gate Lifestyle . My recent visit left a lasting impression, and I felt compelled to share my delightful experience with you.
From the moment we were seated, our waiter greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor that made us feel right at home. His attentiveness and genuine friendliness set the tone for a wonderful meal. After enjoying a delicious meal, my companion Connie and I decided to get some cake to take away.
When we approached the counter, we were greeted by a lovely lady whose infectious laugh could brighten anyone's day. Her laughter was so genuine and uplifting that it created an instant connection between her and the customers she served. We couldn't help but engage in conversation with her, complimenting her on her cheerful service and delightful laugh.
During our chat, she shared a charming story about her Grandma, who had always told her to laugh as long as she had teeth. She added, with a twinkle in her eye, that her Grandma still laughs every day, despite having only four teeth left. This heartwarming anecdote not only made us laugh but also reminded us of the resilience and joy that can be found in the simplest of moments.
This encounter truly highlighted the preciousness of the people in South Africa. It reminded us of the importance of stepping out of our comfort zones and embracing spontaneous moments of joy and connection. Your staff embody these values beautifully, and it's a testament to the wonderful environment you've cultivated at The Lucky Bread Company.
Thank you for providing not only delicious food but also an atmosphere filled with warmth, laughter, and genuine human connection. We look forward to our next visit and the opportunity to experience more of the exceptional service that makes The Lucky Bread Company so special. With heartfelt...
Read morePlesse see below 1 star review for Ocean Basket. Their behavior not only impacts their business, but also other businesses and thr centre as well.
Me and my wife were at the restaurant at 7.40 on Sunday night, November 3rd. We were excited to see that Nthabiseng was working as she always gives us world class service whenever we dine there.
A waitress came to us and told us that the restaurant is closed.
The manager, I believe his got dreads, came shortly thereafter and said the kitchen is closed. When I asked what time they closed he then changed his story to say that he can only serve us fried foods and that it will have to be takeaways. I told him that's unacceptable and left.
Thanks for chasing us away. We dined at a different establishment and enjoyed the food and service there.
We have decided that we will never dine at your restaurant again. We will go to other restaurants where our business will be appreciated.
Just imagine how many other customers have been turned away. It's not only you losing out on business but other businesses in the centre as well as we usually dine after shopping at Oasis, Checkers and sometimes Dischem before sitting down to enjoy a scrumptious meal.
I will definitely notify the centre management of how people get chased away from establishments...
Read moreCastle Gate shopping centre has become one of my favorite places to go shopping. The Open air mall concept for me is a lot better than conventional malls with lots of Sunlight and clean air it goes without saying that viruses and diseases spread more difficult in open air situations than in closed airconditioned areas. Having said that this is mostly a food and groceries type area with some really great Restaurants it would be unfair to single some out because each one is good in their own way. I like the vibe of the place and with an entertainment center square mainly for children it is clear that this place was built with family in mind. And by the laughter and screams from happy children it's not difficult to deduce that it's meeting it's intended objectives. I have noticed that the Dischem shop is not big on social distancing especially at their cashiers point of sales but they're happy to enforce the law when you want to enter the shop. So just insist on keeping your distance anyway and you will be fine. The center in itself is a breath of fresh air literally and goes away from this dark gloomy locked in areas which makes you claustrophobic. Definitely worth the drive to go...
