Our crew of 10 visited while here on vacation from the states. We were able to book a spacious section same day and spent about 500usd for 3 bottles, cigars, waters, hookah and soft drinks. Itâs a nice lounge, very clean, and professional staff. They even sell food.
This is more of a pregame spot, a social meet up spot, an older crowd, an international crowd, and I didnât care for the dj that played on our night. It was more so a very chill vibe and I thought the music was all over the place.
At 2am we left our section and went to Coco, a drastically different vibe, more lively crowd with music we are used to hearing in the states.
Ayepyep is a cool place for a nice, chill vibe. The VIPs are spacious, fresh air flows through the venue and they have adequate/attentive staff. The lounge got at its peak closer to 1am, but even then most people are talking to each other and on their phones scrolling.
I do recommend Ayepyep to all travelers. Itâs a nice experience but if you are looking for a main event/entertainment activity with a more lively feel to it, I suggest pregame here at the bar, then find yourself at Saint, Coco, or Souk for different vibe/better music later in...
Read moreUnfortunately we had a very disappointing experience with our waiter. We were served by Zenathi or zinathi Valashiya she was extremely rude to an extend that we got uncomfortable with ordering or asking. I will just quote from her direct words in Xhosa because we were speaking Xhosa, we asked for menu for drinks well she gave us menu with alcohol there was no soft drinks or mocktails! She came back we asked about the cocktails she saidâ yhoo hayi niyasokolisa ngenitshilo uba ndifuna ntoni kwase kuqaleniâ, we were like okay can we have coke! She gave us our food when she gave us bill we asked why is the amount more than what we expected because we bought African food which was on special, she replied â hayi guys why ningatshongo xa nifuna special? She was suppose to explain so that we could understand instead of taking the bill and going back to the machine and change it! She undermined us! Sadly we love Ayepyep and definitely we will come back! Can she kindly change her attitude towards customers please I beg! She is very disrespectful đŠâšď¸!...
Read moreAyepyep cpt has one of the worst services ever! The place is too small. They make up rules as they go. When we arrived they told us they don't sell cocktails after 19h00. But around 9pm other customers were still bing sold cocktails. They served our drinks in dirty glasses. We returned a total of 4 dirty glasses that night. They don't wear name tags so I kept asking for the manager's name I got different names all the time! But eventually we had a confirmation that the manager's name is Oscar. Oscar's attitude sucks( the manager)..when we complained about the cocktails issues, he gaves us attitude and aggression. If you've been to the Hartfield Ayepyep refrain from going to the cpt one. You will be disappointed. And for your 1st experience of Ayepyep also refrain from the cpt branch because it will make you...
