Extremely Disappointed with Intercape's Service
I am deeply disappointed by the consistently poor service and constant delays experienced when traveling with Intercape. My most recent journey on bus number 243 was yet another frustrating example of the company's inefficiency and lack of communication.
Every time I travel with Intercape, the buses are delayed by 1-2 hours without any explanation or prior communication. This has become a recurring issue, and the company seems to make no effort to improve its scheduling or keep customers informed. Waiting for hours without any updates is not only inconvenient but also shows a complete disregard for passengers' time.
On my latest trip, bus 243 was again delayed by over an hour with no reasons provided. Despite repeated occurrences, there was no apology or attempt to explain the cause of the delay. It is unacceptable for a service provider to operate with such poor customer care and communication.
I am no longer willing to be a loyal customer to a company that continuously fails to deliver reliable and professional service. Based on my repeated negative experiences, I would not recommend Intercape to anyone seeking timely and customer-focused transportation.
Intercape needs to seriously address these ongoing delays and improve its communication with passengers. Until then, I will be seeking alternative travel options and encouraging others to...
Ā Ā Ā Read more18/12/2014 I had to take a friend to Joburg station to catch a bus. Firstly there is no boom at the entrance to collect parking tickets. It has been broken off. I delivered friend and then tried to get out only to find that there are parking ticket boxes and you cannot get out without breaking the booms. So you have to go and park you car (if you can find parking) get a ticket from the entrance and wade through piles of human excrement and pay R12 (immaterial that you have originally spent less than five minutes in the dump) at one of three (only) money gobblers (two of which don't work so you stand in a queue) then find the machine only takes R20 or less (and NONE of the shops will exchange R100 notes). EVENTUALLY you do get out of the concourse and have to wade through same said excrement to your car and get tout of the station. What a downgrade for the once very nice Joburg station which I used to go to every day. SHAME on...

When you get to gate 6 and ask for help you get ahouted on and get removed out of the line. If it wasn't for the other travelers who helped us, we might have missed the bus. The place is very unorganized and there is no board to indicate witch boarding gate is witch. None of the workers even have proper brandeduniform, they're very arrogant, unhelpful once you get helped you gey put on the wrong bus. We are currently traveling on Citiliner and paid for Greyhound Premium without any explanation. This bus is very uncomfortable, no leg room, aircons not working and bus driver is rude. Definitely not we paid for. When we tryed to raise awareness the bus driver said it is not his problem, we should admit a complain
