Let's Go Local SA — Local services in Gauteng

I did the Otter Trail with Let's Go Local SA and it was absolutely amazing! 24-7 beautiful views, sleeping next to the ocean every night, and the stars!!!

I would def recommend Let's Go Local, I found it really useful to have a go-to person to answer all our questions and tell us what we need to prepare for the specific time that we were going. Senzo took care of all the preparation, meals, transport, etc. It was so useful to have someone guide us each day and tell us what to expect, what time we should leave, etc. We crossed all the rivers with ease. Also, because he provided all of the things one may not have, I didn't need to really purchase anything extra for this trip.

I was a bit hesitant to do a group hike with people I didn't know, but it worked out great. Everyone moved at their own pace. It was nice to have options of being able to hike with others or go a bit ahead or behind and hike solo. It was a nice diverse mix of people of all ages and hiking experience. Some were doing their first hike, while others were more experienced. Some people came as a small group while others came by themselves. It worked out great.

Senzo is amazing. He is very informative, super chilled and managed to cater to everyone despite our diverse backgrounds. If you need it, he'll make a plan! Also appreciate the SA black owned travel company.

South Africa has so many beautiful places to explore, but its a bit intimidating to do trails on your own so I found it very helpful to have someone to guide you through the whole process and will definitely be trying the Drakensburg trails this season!

I just completed the incredible Tugela Weekender Tour exploring the Drakensberg and Golden Gate Highlands National Park, and it was one of the best hiking trips I've ever done.

He constantly monitored us throughout the 3-day tour, adjusting the pace accordingly, ensuring nobody was rushed, and making the journey enjoyable for everyone. I did the Tugela Falls and Tugela Gorge hike with Let's go local in June 2023 and this was my first real hike. Everything about the hike including the planning was tops. They provided transport from Joburg to the Tugela. The fist night was very cold in Clarens but Let's go local was able to provide us with sleeping bags to keep us warm. Since it was my first real hike, Senzo was very accommodating and helped to keep me focused throughout. I was worried about the chain ladders but he really helped to keep me calm and focused. The entire hiking group was amazing and it was a beautiful experience that i would recommend especially with Let's go local. Senzo is very experienced and knows the path to these amazing places.
