What a beautiful place this is with so much to do. There are so many stunning shops selling beautiful clothing, memorabilia, food, there are bookshops, art shops, ice cream shops, a shop selling honey and everything that can possibly be made from honey and so much mor!
Then there’s the natural beauty of the water where fishing boats depart and arrive via a slipway. People will park and relax in their cars just enjoying the beauty of the scenic views.
There is a bit of lawn where kids plays while their parents relaxes on blankets on the ground, creating a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere.
There is even a place selling ice cream overlooking the water, who has boats outside that serves as seating. An unusual idea but obviously people loves it.

Read moreWe stopped here to 'take a look' and left in awe. There's several picnic spots and a large parking area to just sit and enjoy the views. The public bathrooms were neat, which was nice to see. We decided to have a 'snack' at Vannie Hoek, the local fish shop. I must say that in my life, I have never tasted such fresh and exceptional fish and chips. The yellow tail was out of this world. And we got to enjoy this meal sitting in a little fishing boat, which serves as your table and chairs. How engenious! I am definitely putting this little diamond on our list of places to go back to.
