I can fully recommend African Shark Eco-Charters Shark Cage Diving!

I wanted to do this diving experience during my holiday in South Africa. After researching, I contacted African Shark Eco-Charters and they answered all my questions honestly and with good intentions. It really was a great service!

From other reviews and reports, it is unfortunately known that great white sharks have disappeared from the coasts of South Africa. With this in mind, African Shark Eco-Charters recommended doing the trip from Simon's Town as more than 20 bronce whales have been spotted recently. This proved to be the case today. There were about 25 sharks with a size of 2.5-3 metres around the boat. The bronze whales are beautiful sharks and I think it's also a good introduction for anyone who has never dived with a shark cage before. Besides the wonderful experience of watching these beautiful sharks underwater and from the boat, I found the trip to be informative and educational. I am grateful that researchers and companies are working together and taking care of the marine ecosystem and sharks in particular. We humans need to act more consciously and protect the oceans!

I was recommended this place by the Youtube influencers Kara and Nate. I couldn't have asked for a better recommendation. They are the only shark cage company in Simon's Town and one of the few eco-charters in Cape Town. They run an incredibly ethical business and have amazing service. I had the most incredible time and was able to see many great white sharks both breaching and also in the cage. I went a few years ago back when there were great white in the bay. Since then I have heard they have been pushed out by orcas. However, if there are different sharks to see then this is the company to go with. I can't recommend them enough. I had a once-in-a-lifetime experience with them and the excellent service made it the perfect memory.

Also I should have led with this but they give you a scuba regulatory in the cage. I did a lot of research before and they are the only company I could find that did that. It made the experience so so so much better. I can't emphasize enough the difference in experience you will have with a regulator instead...
