YES! Delicious Korean food. Kimchi was amazing. Bulging is perfect— not too sweet or drowning in sweet sauce (yes!!) and the homemade kimchi dim sum were so tasty. They have tofu in them which gives it a meaty and filling texture . Kids loved the bento box combos and bibimbap. The tekbokki rice cakes are not homemade BUT the sauce is. Chicken is not like Chinese sweet and sour. It is also not like typical spicy Korean fried chicken but the sauce does have the pepper paste base (gochjing —well spelling is off there but close) We tried to make the tekbokki once and it was a kitchen disaster. So on that thumbs up. The japchae noodles were Al dente-ish and perfect. Again not covered in goop. Really great. The bibimbop is full of pickled veggies with a perfect egg on top to mix it all in. We had a bit of a snafu on our way here but this lunch made up for it all:) ❤️❤️❤️❤️‍🔥 I hope they come to Pretoria one day!! The only only only thing I’d like to see if we lived in the area would be lettuce for those who may prefer lettuce with their bulgogi to make wraps instead of rice🥰 we are taking gimbap for the flight home to Pretoria tomorrow😝

Great Korean street food fair in the Deep South. I was expecting a sit down restaurant but quickly learned it’s more of a take away spot. All good, but good luck getting a table. So you arrive and order your food from the counter and THEN sit down if a table is available. We were a party of seven so this proved tricky but we waited it out because my husband really wanted to try Minari and we came all this way from town. We ordered a bunch of different plates and were seated. The food arrived pretty quickly in stages. The sweet crispy chicken and spicy rice cakes were a hit all around and the dim sum was flavorful. The bulgogi was a disappointment though as the beef was not as succulent as I expected. Service was a bit chaotic as there was only one person running plates and I had to get our own drinks from the fridge. Obviously there is great potential as they were busy the whole of Sunday and overall, I loved it but the ordering system was quite confusing and they probably need more tables (or a larger venue).

Best homemade, fresh Korean food. You will not regret stopping by for a quick lunch or dinner! We stopped by after Boulder Beach after seeing the rave reviews, and we were glad to wait (we arrived around 1) since there was a short line to order. Luckily we were able to get a table inside, and I had the best bulgogi and tteokbokki of my life! Beef was perfectly marinated and the tteokbokki was savory with a deep, unami flavor from the fish cakes. My husband had the chicken, and it was perfectly crispy and had a lovely spice to it. He said it was his favorite Korean chicken he’s ever had! We also discovered that this is the same family that runs the super popular Korean Kitchen stand at the Neighborgoods Market in Woodstock. The grandparents run the stand (they’re there on Saturdays!) and their kids run the permanent location here.
