Today (10th March) I had the pleasure of joining the "Gyeongbok Palace, Bukchon Village, and Gwangjang Tour," and it was an unforgettable experience! Our tour guide, Jenny, was exceptional. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Korea, but she also shared fascinating stories that brought the culture and heritage to life. At Gyeongbok Palace, Jenny explained the intricate details of the architecture, the significance of each building, and the role of the palace in Korean history. She made the history of the Joseon Dynasty come alive in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. Next, we visited Bukchon Village, where Jenny led us through the charming alleys, pointing out the traditional hanok houses. She explained the importance of the village as a historic residential area and gave us a fascinating glimpse into life in Seoul centuries ago. The highlight of the tour was our visit to Bugak Palgakjeong, a beautiful pavilion offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Jenny shared the history of the pavilion and its cultural significance, and we were able to take in the stunning views of Seoul against the backdrop of the surrounding mountains. Overall, this half-day tour was an amazing way to explore the history, culture, and beauty of Seoul. Jenny was an excellent guide, and her knowledge made the experience even more enriching. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seoul!

I did some research online and especially chose the DMZ: 2nd Tunnel & UNESCO Hantan River Tour from Seoul. Hantan River is breathtakingly beautiful. 2nd Tunnel and the Korean Workers' Party Headquarters are worthy to go. Cheorwon Observotory has several high quality binoculars, we did see the North Korean flag and village. Lunch was paid in the restaurant and credit card was accepted. The English guide, Sunny, carefully explained the Korean War. She also took us some wonderful pictures. My kids (8 and 11) enjoyed the trip without problem Highly ecommend!

It was the perfect tour to take to see the highlights of Seoul! So glad my husband and I did it. My favorite part was visiting the Bukchon Village and the Gwangjang Market. I also really appreciated our tour guide Jung, she was really good at providing the history of Seoul throughout the tour! She was so nice as well! The only thing was the weather was not on our side, it was raining heavily while visiting the tourist spots. Other than that, I highly recommend this tour especially if you have limited time in Seoul!

I did 2 tours with this agency. Both tours was very well-organized, the bus was confortable and the guides reached out a day before.

The first I did was one-day tour in Seoul that I booked on Get Your Guide. It was a great way to get a general overview of the city and its main highlights. Our guide, Chloe, was fantastic—very knowledgeable, friendly, and well-organized. She made the experience enjoyable and engaging. The “Squid Game” activity in the park was a fun surprise, and the dessert break added a nice touch.

The tour offers brief stops at several important sites, providing a quick introduction to Korean culture and history. However, there isn’t much time to explore each place in depth. It would have been better if the timing for the guard change ceremony was planned more carefully, as we arrived late and couldn’t get good viewing spots before having to leave early. The stop at the Ginseng Museum could also be skipped—it felt more like a sales presentation than a cultural visit and took up time that could have been better spent elsewhere.

Overall, I recommend this tour if you want a well-organized day covering Seoul’s main landmarks with a fun and friendly guide, especially if you’re short on time.

The second one was for DMZ that I booked on Booking. The tour was very interesting and well organized. Our guide, Thomas, was great! Very friendly and kept a good pace throughout the day. We had enough time to explore each stop without feeling rushed or waiting too long. Entering the Third Tunnel was a memorable experience, though it does require some physical effort, so it may not be ideal for people with mobility issues. Overall, a very enjoyable and...

Terrible Experience – Misleading Weather Policy and Poor Communication

I booked this tour specifically because the website clearly stated: “Good weather is required. Otherwise, the tour will be cancelled.” That gave me confidence the experience wouldn’t go ahead in dangerous conditions.

On the morning of the tour (13AUG25), we woke up to heavy rainfall in Seoul. The pickup was scheduled for 6:40 AM, so we messaged the operator to confirm whether it was cancelled due to the bad weather. We received no response at that point regarding whether the tour would proceed. The rain was so intense we couldn’t even make it to the train station without getting completely soaked.

At 6:36 AM—just minutes before pickup—the guide, K., messaged asking where we were. When we explained the weather, K. replied: “Doesn't matter if it's raining or snowing.” This directly contradicted what was advertised. He also complained they had been waiting since 6:00 AM, even though pickup was stated as 6:40 AM.

We did not attend the tour. There was an official heavy rainfall warning issued for Seoul and the destination area, yet the company chose to run it anyway. This showed they prioritized revenue over safety and guest experience. To make matters worse, they refused to issue a refund.

Avoid this company if you value honesty, safety, and...
