Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Station — Hotel in Seoul

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional service at Four Points by Sheraton Seoul, and I feel compelled to share my gratitude for the outstanding assistance provided by three of their remarkable staff members.

During my stay, I encountered an unfortunate incident where I accidentally left my bag on the KTX train. In my moment of distress, the manager, Chris, and staff member, Jesse, went above and beyond to assist me. Chris promptly reached out to the KTX authorities, and Jesse assisted in retrieving my bag from Seoul Station.

Additionally, I would like to highlight the exceptional service provided by Daisy. One night, the food stores around the hotel were closed, my companions and I hoped to purchase microwave dinner packs at Level 19. Unfortunately, the fridge was already locked, and the register was already closed for the night. Despite this, she kindly reopened the payment systems and ensured we were able to purchase our dinner.

I was deeply impressed by the professionalism, courtesy, and genuine concern for my well-being displayed by Chris, Jesse, and Daisy. Their kindness and dedication did not go unnoticed and made a lasting positive impression.

Thanks to their efforts, I was able depart Seoul satiated and with all of my belongings.

I believe that exceptional service deserves recognition, and Chris, Jesse, and Daisy exemplify the highest standards of hospitality. Their conduct reflects positively on Four Points by Sheraton Seoul, and I am grateful to have had such a positive experience at this establishment.

This was my 4th or 5th stay at this property since they opened up, and I still think this hotel has the BEST location and value EVER! Especially during the pandemic, no bus services to Seoul area from ICN, however, you can easily take the subway/airport rail to Seoul Station with 1400 won from ICN, then walk 10 -15 min using underground path to the hotel (look for the exit # 12). You can take the full benefits of using both Seoul Station (KTX and Subway # 1 & 4 line) and Huam Traditional Market (highly recommend Korean BBQ, dumpling, fried chicken, and rice cake places) when you stay here. The front desk staff (Genie) was excellent in assisting me settled in a gorgeous room with an unobstructed view of Seoul Station (she recognized and expressed appreciations of my Titanium Status), housekeeping lady was excellent as well to accommodate my requests (steam iron in the ice room was nice surprise, perfect for preparing my suits for business meeting). Happy Hour was great (unlimited beer and wine with panoramic city view, you can’t miss it!), breakfast was simple but decent. Employees working at the restaurant during the happy hour and breakfast were very courteous and working hard to assist customers. Special thanks to GM Henry Kim, I met him when he was a front desk staff years ago, he demonstrated the true hotelier services whenever I encountered him over the years, therefore, no surprises at all when I heard of him made a GM! Kudo to GM Kim, you did a very good job to train your employees well (front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant etc.), I feel like this is my home in Seoul and it’s wonderful to see the same great service consistently. I became a repeater of this hotel, after I stayed a night when my KTX arrvied at Seoul Station late at night and I couldn't grab a taxi. I choose this hotel because it was connected to the subway station, and was a SPG property, having no special expectation.

But this hotel is a real gem. The location is really supreme, you can go anywhere downtown by public transportation. especially the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and it takes less than 20 min from the hotel to Myeongdong area with Lotte Tax Free and everything.

The room's always clean, and the water's hot. I also like the fact that this property has toothbrush as its amenity, while many hotels take it away for the environment. I understand the logic, but as this hotel's at the foot of Seoul Station, for overnighters like me this is really convenient, as you don't have to bring your toothbrush with you on your day business trip, and no need to call the front to ask one late at night.

Most requests are fast met, and the staffs are very effecient with capital V. Special appreciation to Kerri at the check-in counter. She remembered my previous feedback, and told me that the issue was well fixed.

The breakfast is simple but enough.

My only complaint is that the in-room dining menu is too simple, and a bit expensive, compared to other SPG properties.

Anyways, I recommend this hotel to anyone, from tourists to business travelers. This is not just another budget hotel. After my first stay, instead of trying to grab a taxi at the station at night, I just reserve a room here and come out refreshed...
