I can highly recommend this school if you want to learn and exercise Spanish. After contacting the school I did some online exercises to evaluate my Spanish level (later course) as well as a short Skype meeting. I think this is a great way to set the correct starting point early on. The school is very professional (including electrical whiteboards etc.) but also very nicely done, so you feel welcome right away. I really enjoyed my course with Alba which is a amazing teacher and person. The way that she structures her classes was perfect for me and I think it is so that it not only motivates you but also “forces you comfortably” into speaking Spanish (even if you are not perfect in it). I stayed with a host family for the first of my two weeks and had a intense course for both weeks. It brought my big steps ahead, as in the beginning the fast Spanish in real life situations (e.g. in a restaurant) was tough for me to understand, in the end however, I felt very comfortably also communicating outside of the school. Even if you don’t want to stay in host family (which I highly recommend) I think Adeje is a great place to stay. It is not as touristic as the coastal region and in my point of view much more beautiful as well. Also it’s more the “real Spain” and you can discover great restaurants and speak Spanish with people (in the touristic areas most people communicate in English with you). To conclude: I think the school is just perfect and really well structured. I felt absolutely comfortable at all times and will definitely come back. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn or improve Spanish. I took 3 months of lessons here and loved it. The classrooms are bright, clean and equipped with modern teaching tools. The staff are very professional and make a real effort in every class to help each student progress. Morena takes care of the administration. She was absolutely lovely when I was trying to figure out which Spanish language school to join and feeling a bit lost. She explaiand everything very patiently and answered every question I had about how the course would be run. Once I joined the school, she was always there to help with flexibly organising my schedule whenever I needed to take time off for other commitments. I was mostly taught by Darell who is an excellent Spanish language teacher. He is always prepared before the class with all the tools and study material. I loved his energy and enthusiasm which is important while teaching a foreign language. He could also pick up what individual students were struggling with and managed to help each of us overcome our weak points while keeping the momentum of the group class going smoothly. The rest of the staff in the school are all friendly, and helpful in every possible way. The school campus has a warm, family like environment where I always felt welcome and excited to learn. *GERMAN (English text see below) * Nach einer kurzen Recherche habe ich die Sprachschule «SMS Spanish Experience» in Adeje im Süden Teneriffas gefunden und mich spontan für einen mehrwöchigen Intensivkurs entschlossen. Ich habe praktisch bei NULL – also ohne Vorkenntnisse - angefangen.

Die Schule hat ein enorm hohes Qualitätsniveau. Alle Mitarbeiter und Trainer sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und kollegial. Es machte mir großen Spaß, den Sprachkurs zu besuchen. Die Lerninhalte sind perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt, die Unterlagen sind von Beginn an sehr klar und leicht verständlich. Die strukturierte Vorgehensweise meiner Trainerin und der hochwertige Unterricht haben mich genauso begeistert wie der abwechslungsreiche und oft sehr humorvolle Ablauf einer Unterrichtsstunde. So war es für mich viel mehr als ein gewöhnlicher «Urlaubssprachkurs».

Meine 11 Wochen vergingen wie im Flug, und ich bin wirklich überrascht, was man in so kurzer Zeit erreichen kann. Ich kann diese Sprachschule mit gutem Gewissen ausnahmslos und uneingeschränkt empfehlen – sowohl für Anfänger als auch für Fortgeschrittene! Man kann auch für einen kürzeren Zeitraum, unabhängig vom eigenen Sprachniveau, einsteigen. Weiters werden auch Kurse für verschiedene Altersgruppen angeboten.

• ENGLISH * After a short research, I found the “SMS Spanish Experience” language school in Adeje in the south part of Tenerife and spontaneously decided to take an intensive course lasting for several weeks. I started at Level ZERO - without any previous Spanish knowledge.

The school have an extremely high level of quality. All employees and trainers are super friendly, helpful and collegial. I really enjoyed my course. The learning content is perfectly coordinated, the documents are very clear and easy to understand right from the beginning. I was enthusiastic about the structured approach of my trainer and the high-quality teaching as well as the varied - and often very humorous - course of a lesson. So, it was much more than an ordinary «vacation language course» for me.

My 11 weeks went by in a flash and I'm really surprised at what can be achieved in such a short time. I can highly recommend this language school with a clear conscience without any exception - both for beginners and advanced learners! You can also join for a shorter period of time, regardless of your language level. Courses for different age groups are also offered.
