I’ve visited this Primark in Nevada many times and have always brought my small hypoallergenic dog in his specially adapted rucksack. He’s calm, quiet, and always kept securely inside.
On this visit, I was suddenly told by a staff member that dogs are only allowed if they are fully enclosed in a carrier meaning even having his head visible was not acceptable. This is confusing and frustrating, as I’ve never had an issue before and the policy clearly isn’t applied consistently.
What makes it even more disappointing is the contrast in standards the store was full of unsupervised children running around, touching clothes with sticky hands, and parents shouting and pushing, yet my clean, well-behaved dog was treated as a problem.
I understand that stores have policies, but they should be applied consistently and with common sense. This experience has really put me off...

Two negatives - first the cashier is hidden away for down in one corner, so minutes of walking from the entrance. Secondly it's Primark so of course quality is not the best. Still, worth a visit. Just keep you kids tied to you, because lose them in here and it might take hours...
