10/10 from start to finish … we arrived when the euros match Spain and Italy was on this evening and the place was completely reserved but soon seeing how sad we were about trying to find somewhere else the gentleman front of house went completely out of his way to ask a couple who didn’t want to watch the football would they mind moving a bit and seated us in great seats after moving around the place….. after that the service was absolutely incredible and they were so friendly and great atmosphere throughout the restaurant…. Food exceptional from the chef Kevin …. Who was run off his feet but went out of his way as well to drop out some meals as the place was so busy and he had a great attitude while doing so making friends with all the guests. We were so impressed we asked to come again tomorrow but understandably they are completely booked out. Would recommend to everyone I meet x...

Cadre simple mais efficace, pour moi c'est juste pour manger, mais si vous voulez rester un peu, il y a un billard en face du bar....pas mal. Ça promet de belles soirées entre amis. Les personnes en salle sont accueillantes, et parlent sans problème l'anglais. Pour moi c'est minimum. Maintenant, parlons du plus important, le dîner. Si je peux conseiller, en entrée, prendre le calamar à l'italienne, c'est frais, c'est bon, c'est bien cuisiné. Les king prawns aussi sont un délice pour les papilles, j'ai rarement gouté aussi bon qu'en Italie. Pour ma part, j'ai commandé des empanadas à la viande. C'est pas terrible, j'aurai aimé faire un feed back au chef par rapport à cela comme je l'ai fait pour l'entrée, mais je n'en ai pas eu l'occasion. Un empanadas est fait avec des pâtes à base de farine de maïs, mais non avec un feuilleté. Ça donne un croquant au plat, et plus de qualité à la nutrition. Je trouve ça dommage, après un aussi bon entrée. Si la viande hachée etait de l'angus ( j'ose éspérer que c'était le cas ), je ne l'ai pas gouté dans mon plat. Il y a dans la farce, trop de choses qui viennent étouffer le goût de la viande, qu'elle en devient difficile à différencier. J'attends à ce que les frites soient croquantes, pas molles. J'aurai aimé avoir quelques légumes à la place comme des petites carottes, des haricots verts, qui auraient alléger le plat. La patte feuilletée apporte une lourdeur à l'ensemble. Sinon, j'ai bien mangé, c'est légèrement cher, mais ça en vaut la peine. Merci fish&chips, je reviendrai encore si je repasse par Portals Nous...
