MOO MOO’S STEAK HOUSE — Restaurant in Calvià

All began well, a lovely waiter, Lorenzo was looking after us. It was a 50th birthday celebration, so pretty important to us. However....... After waiting over an hour our 4 overcooked fillet steaks arrived, with cold limp chips, & hard jacket potatoes. Lorenzo tried to rectify but the second lot of potatoes were just the same, the steaks weren't replaced & when my friend tried to speak to the chef /owner (Simon) about it she was told by him HE DIDN'T CARE! He didn't care our night had been ruined, he didn't care it was the worst meal we had, he didn't care if we made a bad review, as far as he was concerned we could leave..... The Meal was on him. Some of you might think, oh, you got a free meal, stop complaining, but I tell you something..... For a grown man to make a woman cry over a meal by being so rude & aggressive towards her is dispicable. He could have dealt with our issues completely differently, but no he didn't care.! We went back to our hotel & had a drink in the bar & got talking to some other people & they said their meal there was definitely below average & they waited over an hour too. So it's not just us...... But why am I bothering writing this I guess as HE...

Absolutely loved it here! The service was impeccable, our wait staff were so attentive and lovely. We had drinks within 5 minutes of being seated (would definitely reccomend the sangria) and our food came out in great time. I had the garlic prawns and they were gorgeous! My husband and I were genuinely blown away by the steak. It was possibly the best we've ever had, and the peppercorn sauce is extremely good. Excellent chips too. I had creme brulee and as a complete snob when it comes to my favourite desert I can give this one 10/10, seriously good. My very picky daughter really enjoyed everything she had too, she said the spag bol was the best ever, and the chicken goujons were really good. My youngest had the Mexican burger and really enjoyed it. We cannot fault this place one bit, we had such a lovely evening. Excellent food, service, atmosphere and delicious coffee too. Definitely give this...

Awful. Recommended by our hotel - tomir - ordered the steak salad and it was covered and I mean drenched in ranchero blue cheese. Was not asked how our meal was but when waitress’s came over to take the plates away she asked at the end if everything was ok to which she offered me something else free of charge. At that point it was late and was end of the meal. €70 absolute rip off for one starter two salads and two drinks.

Thanks for your reply… indeed there is blue cheese but an awful lot of it. Maybe tone it down just some advice it was the worst thing I’ve ever tasted. Not sure why the obvious has been stated as clearly it was a steak salad so yes there would be steak there too which is why I ordered it. The blue cheese does not compliment.

Also my mum had the caesar salad which was covered in mustard sauce. Not great either. Might be best to stick to the...
