Charles Marlow — Local services in Deià

We had the most incredible 2 week October half term holiday in Mallorca (2021). We were lucky enough to stay in 2 of Charles Marlows properties.

The first week we were in Deia at Sa Vinyeta. Sa Vinyeta was beautiful. The views are spectacular. The house and gardens are beautifully done. Sitting out on the veranda with a cup of coffee in the morning, taking in the sunrise, was a real highlight of mine. The snorkelling was amazing. The water is crystal clear and so calm. We saw octopus and a huge variety of fish. The steep walk up to the village was our daily exercise. To be honest I loved it. The locals in Deia are just so incredibly friendly and the restaurants are delicious.

The next week we went over to Port de Soller and stayed at La Sophie. OMG can I just say this house is my dream house! It had everything you could possibly want. The house is done in a very tasteful eco friendly way. It was so comfortable. You feel right at home when you walk through the door. The house sits right in the middle of the promenade over looking the beautiful bay. We went paddle boarding, snorkelling, kayaking and swam everyday! Honestly it was soo much fun. We also went out to eat every night. No need to drive anywhere as everything you could want is right on your doorstep. The food was fabulous and again the locals were so warm and welcoming. You feel like part of a big family. It’s just a wonderful seaside town.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Charles Marlows properties more. Andreas, Michelle, Lluch and Miguel are amazing. I felt extremely fortunate to have found sales agent, Maria Garde, at Charles Marlow after attempting to work with a rather unavailable and unhelpful agent at another local firm. Similarly, rental agent, Andreas Thau Loftager has been absolutely wonderful! As we have been working to better understand and explore the real estate market in the Deia area, Andreas has made it easy to identify rental properties that both fit our wants/needs for a holiday away from our home in the USA, but that also help to further our knowledge and experience in Deia in general. Additionally, all of the Charles Marlow rental properties are extremely charming and appear to have been delicately hand picked! Andreas makes the whole process seamless and effortless. The welcome hamper and welcome guide that he provided were also very nice touches!
