Albergue de Sonia Buen Camino — Hotel in Fisterra

We came with bycicles and stayed here for 2 nights. We have a wonderful time, a friendly and warm environment. Our hostess were very friendly and helpful and we got along just fine. We prepared our meals in their fully equipt kitchen. You can buy drinks and coffee in the reception area, they even have souvenirs of the Camino route. Wifi is available, they also have laundry room to wash and dry clothes. |The rooms are spacious and , cleaned on a daily basis. Bunk beds are comfortable. You get a sheet and a pillow cover and a blanket. (Bring a sleeping sack).|Some rooms even have shared bathrooms (clean -enough of toiletries).☆ I would maybe recommend installing a hairdryer to dry hair ☆.|If you have a bicycle, you can put in a locked shed. |We were very pleased with our stay. We stayed there for four nights, we reserved in advance and the reservation worked good. It was a bit confusing because according to the Buen Camino app they have double rooms and triple rooms, but they only had rooms for four which could be used like double and triple rooms. We reserved two rooms and got a private bathroom, which usually is a common bathroom only with a piece of paper on the door that said private. The stay was ok and the staff is really friendly. Sadly their shared bathroom on the first floor is full of mold on the ceiling, because it is a room without any window or air circulation so that the steam after taking a shower stays inside. This Albergue in beautiful Fisterra have everything,you may ever need on your pilgrimage/holidays.||Staff is very friendly,although they do not speak much English,with some effort you will notice no discomfort,as they will do anything,they can to make you feel comfortable.||Kitchen is perfectly equipped for cooking,even utensils are not lacking. ||Showers and rooms are large and clean. Beds are especially comfortable and large. I have nearly 2.00metres and I had no trouble to fit in,or stretch in the morning. Something,you will not encounter on Camino very often.||Albergue is also very close to the bus station(town center) and everything is very close. They have washing machine and dryer and two saunas,which we had not used.||Overall it was very nice experience....
