Mi Cafecito was the first eatery we went to in Málaga and it set the bar high for all of the food that we had throughout the remainder of our Málaga stay. We went into Mi Cafecito at around noon on a Thursday afternoon. There was no queue and perhaps 3-4 other people sitting in there already. We were greeted at the door with a smile and a joke. Once seated, we were given the menus and the person was as helpful as possible. Our party of 3 adults all opted for the combo deal. The combo deal costs just under 15€ (!) per person and consists of a main dish, a coffee, a glass of fresh orange juice and even a small bowl of yoghurt with fruits. Everything we consumed at this place was absolutely delicious. I took the Huevos Rancheros. The flavours were great and you had a bit of everything - the healthy fats, carbs and protein ;) My husband took the poached eggs with salmon. After trying a little bit, I did have food envy - despite loving my huevos rancheros. I'm not usually a fan of orange juice, but must admit even that was perfect. I loved finishing the meal with the little yoghurt pot. It was a creamy yoghurt, with a sweetener (honey?), some granola, some dried fruits and some fresh fruit. It completed the meal so nicely. We had a wonderful brunch experience at Mi Cafecito brunch & more. The food was not only delicious but also very healthy and thoughtfully prepared.

The brunch combo is a great choice — it includes a main dish (sweet or savory), a coffee, a granola yogurt, and an orange juice. It felt very balanced and carefully put together. My oat cappuccino was excellent, rich in flavor and perfectly prepared.

The staff was consistently friendly and welcoming, which made us feel very comfortable. On top of that, I had a lovely conversation with the owner’s husband, which rounded off our visit in a truly personal way.
