Unacceptable service and complete lack of professionalism We purchased a washing machine at a MediaMarkt store, knowing exactly which model we wanted. Despite this, the ordering process took over 1.5 hours, as we were sent from one employee to another with no coordination or efficiency whatsoever. After this experience, we scheduled the delivery for a specific day. The delivery never arrived, and no one contacted us to explain the delay or offer a solution. When we called the customer service hotline, we were told:
“Maybe someone will call you, maybe not. We have no information about your order.”
We stayed home the entire day waiting for the delivery. MediaMarkt showed no responsibility, no communication, and no respect for our time. This level of service is disgraceful. Stay away

The delivery was scheduled for Tuesday. Nobody showed up. Nobody called. No explanation, no apology — just nothing. We waited all day for no reason. Three days later, we had to waste our time to go to the store ourselves to find out what the hell was going on. A staff member disappeared for 20 damn minutes, only to come back and casually mumble something about “a problem with the vehicle.” Then they told us the delivery would happen on Monday next week between 9:00 and 15:00.
Monday came — and the exact same crap. No one came. No one called. We had to drive to the store again, furious, demanding answers. They gave us another empty promise: the delivery will be tomorrow.
The next day, the delivery guy finally called and said he’d be at our place in 10 minutes. After 30 minutes — still nothing. He stopped answering the phone. And after a few more calls, he literally turned off his phone. Seriously? Is this a joke? Are we supposed to chase your incompetent delivery people like this?
The day after, we went back to the store AGAIN and demanded a refund. They begged for one more chance and promised, once again, “tomorrow between 9:00 and 15:00.” Against all logic, we agreed — one last time.
The delivery finally showed up today at 16:30 — late again, of course. After FOUR trips to the store, multiple lies, wasted time, stress, and complete disrespect, we finally received the product that we paid for weeks ago.
This wasn’t just bad service — this was a total disaster. No responsibility, no communication, no respect for customers. An absolute disgrace. You don’t treat people like this. We’re not idiots. You should be ashamed of how you run this store. Never....

Mediamarkt agreed that I did not receive the product, but they also dont want to refund me the 80 euro.
Their claim is that its bought through their "marketplace", so I should contact the "seller" directly. The thing is that the seller is NOT responding, and the money is not paid to the seller, the money is paid to mediamarkt.es Even in my visa statement it shows clearly that mediamarkt.es took the money.
Now I will have to spend a lot of time taking media markt to court. This is a matter of principle, and not the 80 euro itself. What upsets me is not the loss of 80 euro, but the way that mediamarkt customer support acts, when I'm trying to get my money back for a product I DID NOT RECEIVE !!
Here is what i will do now, and what you should do if you experience something similar: First step now is making bad reviews all over the internet. Second step is filing for a chargeback through visa/mastercard in online banking or physical bank. Thirdly, reporting MediaMarkt.es and the incident to the police for theft/fraud. Write about the incident in all social media channels available. File a court case against MediaMarkt. Contacting all tabloids, newspaper and media, to get them to write about the case to warn others and to thereby rightfully harm the reputation of MediaMarkt.

I went to this store looking to buy a Sony hometheatre (website showed inventory here) and the 1st sales person I interacted with - Roberto - went to the warehouse to bring one, but the box seemed quite dirty and had a loose tape around it, one of the carton packaging pieces was also loose. I asked the guy “this is not an open box, right ?” and he simply lied to my face “No, don’t worry”. Took the package, paid and went home - during unpacking I realized I was lied to, the subwoofer was full of dust, it was missing 2 of the 4 rubber feet at the bottom and one of the power cables was missing. This was the 1-star review, now for the 5-star : went back to the store pretty pissed for how I’ve been mislead, but got a refund in 5 minutes from the helpful girl at customer service counter (and an apology even though it was not her fault), then looked for another sales guy - this one told me straight up that he thought they only had an open box/display unit, I asked him to check the warehouse anyway and 10min later he came with an unopened box and formalized the sale. Very helpful guy, didn’t get his name unfortunately. At some point he went and spoke to Roberto (original sales guy) who even after seeing me pretended nothing was wrong…this Roberto clearly has no sales etiquette.
