Brilliant! We arrived as two absolute beginners who weren’t sure if skiing would be for us, and left after 3 brilliant mornings of lessons with the fabulous Amy, already planning when we’ll be skiing again! Crystal welcomed us on our first morning and was so reassuring, kind, extremely helpful, and intuitively realising how nervous we both were, shared her observations with our instructor ahead of us arriving on the slopes. She was great and really put us at ease, sorted us out with all our kit, and sent us up to meet Amy, our instructor. Amy was awesome! Super welcoming, friendly, reassuring, professional and great fun. We couldn’t have hoped for a better instructor. So supportive and really encouraging, a true coach, and we knew we were in safe hands from the off. Amy coached us brilliantly given we hardly knew which way the skis went on!! She really built up our confidence very quickly, helped us when we couldn’t get things right first time, and was always really constructive and encouraging when coaching us. We both had a wobble at least once over the three days, but Amy knew exactly how to get us our confidence back. We couldn’t believe how much we progressed in just three x 3 hour lessons. What’s more, Amy is great to be around, good fun, super enthusiastic, and loves teaching people to ski! She clearly takes real joy out of helping you achieve your goals, a born teacher, and clearly well respected by her colleagues and the many other instructors from other ski schools in Sierra Nevada. We lucked out getting Amy as our instructor and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and the British Ski School. A huge thank you to the British Ski School in Sierra Nevada Spain for making our first ski trip a wonderful experience. First class service from our initial enquiries by e-mail right through to our ski lessons. The team answered all our enquiries and were a great help in advising us prior to making the trip and during the lessons. Ski lift passes, ski hire, ski boots and advice on accommodation were all sorted with help from Giles and Laura, we did have a discount by using Rio Sports for the ski hire. Johnathon was a great instructor, very helpful, patient, encouraging and friendly and definitely put us at ease. My wife Louise lacked confidence and Johnathon was a great support encouraging her. A special mention to Krystal and Tom who came to the Rio Sports shop to help us get started each morning and Paola who helped my wife when she went a little light headed in the Gondola lifts. If you are heading to Sierra Nevada we would highly recommend using the British Ski School, very friendly and so helpful, see you next time...

So glad we booked our mini ski trip with the British Ski School. The kids have loved their lessons and after just 4 hours tuition, I can't keep up with them! The instructors were incredibly friendly and relaxed, even with our moody 4 year old. By booking lift passes through BSC and using their equipment partners we just had to turn up at the ski rental shop and they met us with the lift passes and directed us up the gondola, so easy and stress free. We arranged this trip very last minute over what has been a crazier than normal Christmas period and were incredibly disorganised, but this company responded to our queries super fast each time and despite missing the deadline for lift pass purchases managed to get it through for us. I'm so grateful and will definitely be back...
