I recently visited Sierra Nevada in Spain and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the beauty of this mountain range. The snow-capped peaks, glistening lakes, and lush forests were truly breathtaking, and I felt like I was in a different world.
I love hiking, and Sierra Nevada did not disappoint. There were so many trails to choose from, ranging from easy walks to challenging mountain hikes. I decided to tackle one of the most popular trails, the Alhamilla, and I was blown away by the stunning views. I felt like I was on top of the world, surrounded by nature at its finest.
One of the highlights of my trip was skiing at the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort. I was amazed by the long runs, varied terrain, and abundant snowfall, and I had a blast skiing and snowboarding all day long. The resort was packed with skiers and snowboarders from all over the world, and the atmosphere was electric.
Overall, my trip to Sierra Nevada was a truly unforgettable experience. I would recommend this mountain range to anyone who loves nature, adventure, and outdoor recreation. Whether you're a hiker, skier, or just someone who appreciates beauty, Sierra Nevada has something for everyone, and I can't...
Read moreI was there only one day but I enjoyed this place a lot. It's something different than Carpathian mountains, Pyrenees and Balkan mountains. No trees, arid, but still fun to hike. It's nice that there's a bus taking people up to 2 700 m past the national park border. Even though you have a handicap going toward Mulhacen you have to walk more than 20 km from start to finish. I thought it would be a cheese cake but it was not. I consider this trip as moderately challenging. Good views, animals similar to mountain goats not at all scary of people, 20-30 people passing during whole day - these are the most important pluses of that place. What is important there are at least two good approaches to Mulhacen so one could start from one place, climb it and finish at...
Read moreIt's such a beautiful & 'peaceful place. The views of the Sierra Nevada mountains are stunning. The snow on the high peaks give ideal skiing conditions & the lower slopes have excellent trecking routes whether riding or on foot. There are many villages for a welcome break with ecellent food & wine. It's very Spanish area unlike the coast & there is so much to see & do. The people are friendly & kind but don't epect everyone to speak English. Granada has many tourist shops &the Arab influence is much in evidence. The jewel in the crown of course is the World Heritage Alhambra Palace in nearby Granada. It's wonderful to visit & the view of it at sunset when the snow on the Sierra turns deep pink is just amazing. If you haven't been you're missing a very...
