Terraza Tia María — Restaurant in Monachil

We went there as we saw the reviews that the food was great. But we were shocked to find out the famous chicken fingers that many people were talking about were not as good as it sounds, it had no taste, you will have to dip the chicken deep in the sauce to get a little bit of flavor. I guess the reason why so many people said the chicken fingers were good is because there was a big portion of it and that’s it.The quesadilla mixta was a little bit better it had more flavor but not something extra. The waiter ( female ) was very rude to us she even asked us not to smoke while there were many other client’s smoking and we had to ask another waiter for an ashtray while the she waiter told us they didn’t have it. Disappointing Experience

We were a group of three and stopped by Tia Maria in Sierra Nevada for a drink. Unfortunately, the service was terrible—staff were unfriendly and condescending. I ordered a tinto de verano and wanted to make sure it was homemade rather than from a bottle. The waitress rudely dismissed me, saying the wine comes in a bottle and they couldn’t “make” it. Later, I ordered a glass of red wine, which was served in a ridiculously small pour. When I asked for a proper glass, the waiter first told me I’d have to pay double but eventually brought me a normal one.

To make things worse, when we got the check, there was an extra €20 charge for plates we never ordered.

It’s a shame that such a place with a great view has such poor service. Definitely not...

Estuve comiendo con unos amigos, pedimos platos combinados, y bueno calidad precio así así.... La calidad es mala, cómo en la mayoría de sitios que podrás encontrar, el precio desorbitado, entiendo que por la ubicación del sitio suban el precio pero con esa calidad... Deja mucho que desear. Además todos nos dimos cuenta cómo las dos chicas camareras metían la mano en el plato de la ración de fingers y se comían uno o dos cada una, después te lo servían como si nada. Nos dimos cuenta porque estábamos frente a la barra dónde iban saliendo las comandas de comida. No se si las tienen sin comer mucho tiempo o es simplemente mala educación y mal servicio. Atentos con los precios ya que en los carteles de bebidas aparece un precio y luego cuando te llega la cuenta debes sumar medio euro más a cada bebida que pediste. Me parece fatal la información engañosa. El camarero calvo va con pintas de chulo y te sirve las cosas sin mirar, cómo si trabajase sin ganas.... Lo único bueno que puedo decir, es el trato del camarero más mayor, hacen falta más camareros cómo ese hombre, educado, servicial y atento...
