Africa supermarket Lolly — Local services in Valencia

This is the best place to eat in the Valencia area! Hands down much better than even some local restaurants in Lagos, Nigeria. Lola (the owner) was so welcoming, warm, and hospitable.

We stopped by to see if we could see something “African-ish” to eat because we weren’t expecting anything spectacular in the area. To our greatest surprise, the food was so good that we came back three more times! All the food delicacies we had were so tasty and well prepared.

The food was ok...though we were somewhat cheated of the price. We ordered the jollof rice (thinking that we could order either chicken/ fish) and it would be 12 euro cos that's what's stated in the menu. But it was misleading.Just the rice( the price they actually didn't put in the menu was 8 euro!!) and plus 12 euro for the added fish. So total for fish and rice was 20 euro!! Rather misleading and the waitress did not explain to us clearly and was rather beating around the...

My tastebuds were amazed. What can I say, I'm in love with this restaurant! I've lived all over the world and have never come across a place that screams traditional heritage of the country from which the food is originated, from the spices to the African decor within the very friendly staff, including the amazing chef and owner who came to my table to ask my wishes and to greet me with a friendly welcome. This is also a great place for drinks as the back room feels like I stepped into a VIP area from the neon lights to the privacy of the booths.
