Saturday Good Market Event — Local services in Colombo

We were in Colombo only for a couple of days, but managed to go to this market on Saturday morning. Spent half the day there and enjoyed every bit of it. Did most of our Sri Lanka shopping there - spices, bamboo stuff, food stuff etc. The clothes were a little expensive, but the variety and taste of food stuff was great. Oh Good Market l!! A revolutionary concept now has become very popular. There are many varieties of things here. Most of the Food is really good and reasonably priced and very satisfying. However I noticed that the other things are outrageously expensive for example I checked this tote bag with simplest flower embroidery (as I do embroidery as well I can say it shouldn’t have take more than an hour to embroidery by hand) and it was Rs 4200.
