Boréal Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Geneva

Very disappointing service. I ordered a medium cup of mocacchino with hazelnut shot as always but the barista misunderstood and gave me a small cup instead. When I told him I ordered a medium-sized cup, he just transferred my order to a bigger cup and he only added milk. Of course it tasted very disgusting and I told him that but he still insisted it should taste the same. What a big joke! I know how it should taste as it's my regular craving. So I just left my cup right there and then after tasting it. He didn't even apologize for getting and making my order wrong....

High hopes for this place after seeing so many positive reviews. Staff were friendly. But the cappuccino was standard Swiss/French style: way overheated, completely flat, no microfoam, burning hot to the touch. Took it back. The barista re-made it but the second one is basically cold. 5/10 at best. Is there still no decent cappuccino in Geneva? Was I...

“Expérience décevante, service médiocre.” Je fréquentais Boréal Café depuis un moment et j’aimais vraiment l’ambiance et la qualité du service. Mais depuis que les anciens baristas sont partis, l’attention portée aux clients est devenue médiocre et négligée, comme si on n’était pas capables de reconnaître un bon matcha, un chai ou un café latte correctement préparé.

Lors de notre dernière visite, nous avons commandé un café latte, un matcha et un chai, et c’était un désastre : • Le chai était froid alors qu’on l’avait demandé chaud. • Le matcha était chaud alors qu’on l’avait commandé froid. • Le café nous a été servi avec du lait sans lactose parce qu’ils n’avaient plus de lait normal… sans même nous prévenir ou demander si ça nous convenait. 😒

On s’est dit que c’était peut-être juste un mauvais jour… mais lors d’une visite récente, on a vécu une situation similaire. Franchement, si c’est pour boire n’importe quel chai fait à base de sirop, autant aller chez Starbucks. Au moins, on sait à quoi s’attendre… Dommage, Boréal avait un...
