Pizzeria Don Camillo — Local services in Winterthur

We ordered prosciutto pizza and asked that the mushrooms be swapped with garlic.

I can't begin to express my disappointment. This is the worst pizza dining experience I've had in Winterthur city.

The waitressing service was poor. The CHF23 pizza was so bland the tomato sauce tasted as if out of a can. Except for the dough this might as well have been a pizza from the frozen section at a supermarket. I'm horrified. 😨

She forgot to bring the plates we explicitly asked for. You couldn't tell it had any garlic other than by eyeballing the pizza. She wouldn't bring us extra garlic to make up for it. When we told her it was bland, she excused herself by saying that everyone has a different taste... I have no words.

The lack of service as well as bland food without any finesse whatsoever doesn't justify the price AT ALL. I certainly don't care to repeat the experience and would advise others to dine elsewhere if only...

Die Pizzas sind hier sehr empfehlenswert und preisgünstig. Der Insalata Caprese wird auf eine ansprechende Art und Weise serviert... aber:

Das Service-Personal ist sehr unfreundlich. Wir hatten zwei Cola und zwei Sirup bestellt (für die Kinder). Der Kellner brachte zwei Cola und zwei Cola Zero (er hat sprachlich "sirup" mit "siro" verwechselt). Er hat sich geweigert, die beiden falschen Getränke wieder retour zu nehmen und so mussten wir diese auch bezahlen. Den Sirup durften wir dann trotzdem auch noch bezahlen.

Von der Ambiente her muss man sich hier mit defektem Mobiliar herumschlagen, so dass ich empfehle, die Pizzas als TakeAway...
