The town have done something there. If you are passionate in plant or any senses around them, just pop in. The place is amazing, the roses collection is very interesting and enriching. I especially love the tiny house right in 5he middle, fountain as everywhere in Winterthur is nice. There's few nice trees around and in and for paramounting the scenery is awesome. The garden itself was nice, but we enjoyed the views more. We always love trying to get higher up in cities to look down, and while this one isn't super high up - you can still see some prominent buildings and it's beautiful. There are a few benches as well. The rose garden in September was...

Gr8 place. If your stay in winterthur in flowering season/ August September, then definitely give a visit! You so many roses of different colours. Also the city views is nice from the garden.

Heute war ich am Nachmittag, bei guter Witterung, aber bei dieser Bise saukalt, wieder einmal im Rosengarten an der Hochwachtstrasse in Winterthur. Der Villengarten der Familie Reinhart mit wunderschönen Rosenbeeten im Sommer, ist derzeit im Winterschlaf. Die Aussicht auf die Stadt Winterthur ist aber dennoch grossartig. Allein deswegen lohnt sich der Aufstieg, aber auch um das tolle rosafarbene Teehaus, die von Hans Eduard Bühler geschaffene Skulptur des springenden Pferdes sowie die Skluptur eines Sixtanten von Roman Signer zu betrachten.
