It is a lovely building with some really nice paintings on display. There's a large collection of paintings by Dutch artists downstairs and Swiss artists like Ferdinand Hodler and Albert Anker upstairs. On the top floor, they have special exhibitions. The latest one is 'women through the centuries'. Some of the paintings are badly lit and whilst there is a nod to transsexualism in the form of photographs, older women seem largely ignored. Adding English translations and addressing the lighting concerns would greatly enhance the overall experience for a broader audience. Thank you for considering these...
