We’ve recently returned from an unforgettable 5-day safari with Ozon, followed by 5 nights in Zanzibar (which they also arranged for us).

After much research and comparison with other safari companies, we decided to go with Ozon. As it was our first time booking an end-to-end experience with an external company abroad, we were initially a bit apprehensive as to what to expect, but from start to finish, we couldn’t fault the organisation, communication and professionalism of the company. Our sales contact, Yohana, was on hand to support throughout the entire booking process, responding to any questions we had in an incredibly timely manner and being flexible to accommodate our needs. He was also in regular contact to provide us with information and updates - including during the trip itself - which was invaluable.

Upon arrival in Tanzania, we met our guide, Innocent, who really completed the overall experience for us. Innocent was professional, friendly, and most of all, had an incredible depth of knowledge about the country’s wildlife and culture. He was also super experienced in understanding the landscapes and the most optimal places to be at certain times, but was flexible and accommodating to our wishes at the same time. He kept in regular contact and communication with other guides to maximise our chances of spotting different animals, and he put our safety first at all times. Overall, Innocent was passionate about giving us the best safari experience possible and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Our 5-day itinerary included highlights at Tarangire, Ndutu, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. The animals we were able to spot - and within such close proximity - completely exceeded our expectations. Thanks to Innocent, we were able to complete our lifelong dream of seeing The Big 5. Other highlights included seeing cheetahs, crocodiles, and the incredible migration of thousands of zebras and wildebeests.

Finally, we were extremely impressed with the standard of accommodation and food that was provided as part of our all-inclusive package. Each of the different lodges that we stayed at were immaculate with stunning views of the landscapes, and the service provided at them was excellent too. In addition, the selection of food throughout exceeded our expectations and we were incredibly well looked after at all times. We ended our trip with a few days in Zanzibar, which was again seamlessly organised by Ozon.

Overall, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ozon Light Tours to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania. We were pleased to be able to support a small local business in Arusha where they are clearly passionate about customer satisfaction and experience, and they couldn’t be more deserving of 5 stars. Ozon Light tours did a great job arranging and tailoring our trip according to my needs and budget. They have a strong office team and very genuine people who will work for you to make your trip memorable. I will definitely book with them to see their beautiful country once again in future.

Pros: Very punctual and responsive backend office team with any questions you have. I worked with Clinton and he is the best, Taking all my queries and getting back on time, If it was not for him, I wouldn’t have booked the tour. Office team is in constant check with you through out the tour period to know if everything is going on fine and they try their best to make your trip great. The package price is affordable compared to other company quotes and provides great service for your buck. Our ride to and fro from airport was handled by Peter. He was very punctual and on time always. Clean and nice transfer vehicle. Had a very good experience watching animals during safari with our guide. Had a special talent to get and find animals attention, which made up for couple of things which did not go well as per our expectations (described in the improvements section) You wont believe the toilets are very clean everywhere and kudos to the attenders who are on top of it. I am from America and I dont get to see this clean restrooms in some forest preserves or National parks here.

To Improve: 1.Wish my safari guide was more punctual on time . Ozon tour should have some company logo shirt for the guide, so that travelers can identify them easily during pickup. My first day was horrible when he was late and not picking the phone, no communication from him either. We just passed by each other without knowing he is my tour guide. 2.The Safari jeep needs an upgrade, opening/closing windows was difficult .Power outlet was broken. 3.There was a food mix up when beef was provided in our lunch when I specifically said NO BEEF!. They did their best to rectify the mistake from next day but I hope they paid some attention to my meal restrictions, which was very important...

I recently returned from an unforgettable 6-day safari in Tanzania with Ozon Light Tours, and I couldn’t be more impressed by the entire experience. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and ran smoothly, thanks to the incredible efforts of Clinton and his management team. Having read a few negative reviews about other companies, I was initially a little skeptical, but Ozon Light Tours exceeded all my expectations.

The itinerary was packed with highlights, including Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti National Park—each location offering its own unique beauty and wildlife encounters. The accommodations were excellent throughout, each providing a different, but equally memorable experience.

However, the true star of the trip was our guide, Abrahim. From day one, he was not only fun and engaging, but his deep knowledge of the wildlife, culture, and landscapes truly enhanced our journey. Abrahim is clearly one of the most experienced guides in the region, and it was evident by the way fellow guides would light up when they saw him. His ability to find and track wildlife was astounding, and we were able to see everything we had dreamed of and more. At times, it felt like he had a sixth sense when it came to spotting animals! His passion and expertise were contagious, and my wife who was moved to tears during our farewell—it was that special.

The vehicle was top-notch—well-maintained and very comfortable, which was critical since we spent so much time in it. We even had a day where we weren’t feeling well, and the whole team was incredibly accommodating, ensuring we were comfortable and taken care of.

All in all, this safari was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and Ozon Light Tours played a huge role in making it unforgettable. The professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for what they do were evident in every aspect of the trip. Without a doubt, if I were to do this trip again, I would choose Ozon Light Tours in a heartbeat.
