Visited this hotel twice, before safari and after. First visit, no drama, no trauma, stayed , ate, water worked, payment was a hassle but that's expected. Second visit, different story, front desk staff was having a bad day when we were checking out. Dispute over laundry charges, payment in cash, questioned if we paid for first visit, what was the exchange rate. On and on. Checkout took 45 min to complete. We paid the first visit with a Visa card and expected to do the same for the second visit. It's not complicated. We were told to go the ATM and get cash. Hmmmmm. Read moreWe stayed at Arusha Crown hotel upon our return from Safari, as the hotel we stayed at earlier ( Mvuli, can highly recommend it) was overbooked that night.|Central location of Arusha crown convinced us to book there a night. There is an unwritten tourist rule in Arusha that once it gets dark, you better take a cab and in this case we also needed it ( was only 5k though).||Still, the rooms were spacious and clean, water pressure good. A bit awkward staff (e.g. a cleaning lady came to our room at 10:00am asking if she could pick up already the sheets). The hotel has no character, and the customer service in other hotel we stayed at was better, but overall the place is OK...

Masoodi was the main person I saw who was ever so lovely and caring. The security guard too - he escorted me to a local restaurant and the bus stop. The rooms were fine although a little dated and the one pillow was a bit old. But essentially I had a good nights rest and the bathroom was fine. I'd stay here again and recommend it. Breakfast was good too. Thanks for having me. Also as a solo female traveller I'd recommend it for sure.I couldn't fully gauge location but it was right down the road from...
