Pure Vegan Heaven — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Heavenly food and super friendly staff ! Was there with a group of friends, we ordered many items and all was very delicious. Some of the best vegan food I ever had. Staff and owners are very welcoming and involved in many other sustainable projects. They have a huge wellness eco resort opening this year as well ! Pure Vegan Heaven is a must try even if non vegan. The greenery and mountain views in the back of their Samui location comes as a surprise as it's unexpected coming off the busy main street of Lamai. I can recommend the falafel bowl, veggie burger and the mexican bow. For drinks the turmeric lemonade and coconut kefir lassi are must tries. For dessert we had an açai bowl and the chocolate coconut mousse, all amazing ! Prices are super reasonable for the quality. Easy parking on the street for motorbikes and they have another space for cars in the back of the restaurant. IF YOU HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY ASK THE STAFF ABOUT THE DISHES/DRINKS!!

The 3 bites of food I had were really delicious! However, I have a severe sunflower seed allergy. Wherever I go I always scan the menu for ingredients in each dish, and chose a pasta dish with an iced coffee. Turns out, BOTH had sunflower seeds in them! I discovered this when my throat began to instantly swell. I quickly asked the waitress about this and she said the owner does not disclose all the ingredients in fear of people stealing recipes.

I understand wanting to protect your business but just beware as a customer that there is no type of warning for nuts/seeds/allergies. The waitress was amazing, she put me on her bike to find the nearest clinic and try to help me get some care. If I didn’t have my medicine it could have been a serious incident.

My biggest recommendation would be for the restaurant to include allergy warnings, and for guests to play it safe...

So disappointed! Came here as a treat on the last day of our holiday. The food and drinks were delicious, the service was appalling. We were so excited by the menu as we love vegan food, but once we’d placed and received our order, we were just forgotten about...despite being the only customers in the restaurant by 9pm. Our plates were never cleared, we were never asked if we wanted anything else, if we’d like the bill...nothing. After sitting there for far too long and getting really fed up, we went and found menus ourselves, added up what the bill would be then left the correct money before leaving. We were so disappointed - originally we’d decided on getting desserts and coffees too, instead we went to a local pancake stall opposite for desert! Its quite a pricey place compared to other restaurants close by - which it should be, the food we had was brilliant - the terrible lack of service is what really let it...
