I had high hopes coming here because of the good reviews.
I had the foot massage + Thai massage at the 2nd branch of Nikko Thai.
Firstly, the foot massage is not in a private area. It is a cramped room where 4 people are getting foot massages at once. This was a minor issue though. The bigger issue was that the masseuse assigned to me seemed to be very inexperienced. The whole 30 minutes of the foot massage was her doing the exact same thing: aggressively slathering lotion up and down my leg. It doesn't help that I see the other massage therapists doing various techniques on their customers, which my massage therapist was clearly not doing. Midway through, it got painful as all the attention was on my shins and knees. I let her know that it was painful and that I wanted her to focus on my feet instead of my shins, but she kept on doing the same thing. It was highly uncomfortable and I kept waiting for the 30 minutes to end. Now post-massage I see that I have multiple bruises on my legs.
I was happy to go on to the Thai massage thinking that another massage therapist will be assigned to me. Nope it was still the same person. The first 5 minutes of the Thai massage was painful and the thought of enduring 55 more minutes of it was excruciating, and so I had to kindly ask if I can get another massage therapist (mind you I rarely request these things as I'm a bit shy to do so, but the pain was too much).
The management had me wait 15 minutes, although I offered to pay for the foot massage only and not the Thai massage so I could get up and leave. It's a good thing I waited though because the new massage therapist was way better. Hence, the 2 stars to this review.
I will not be coming...
Read moreI visited in the afternoon when the place was quite busy. I opted for a 1.5-hour traditional Thai massage for 500 THB. It was worth the price—my therapist, Nut, was excellent and delivered a strong, effective massage. The staff, including receptionist, were friendly and welcoming.
However, the environment was too noisy. Some customers were speaking loudly to each other and some were talking on their phones, and the staff did not ask them to lower their voices. This affected the overall relaxation experience.
While the pricing is reasonable, it's worth noting that the shop next door offers a similar service for 300 THB per hour, so the difference is Nikko is clean. I don’t mind to pay extra if service were good. Despite that, I was satisfied with the massage quality, but I would prefer a quieter atmosphere...
Read moreThey now open at 0900! Professional masseurs!!! I enjoyed 90min of my time here doing the foot massage (sport) - I believe it’s suitable for people who needs firmer/stronger pressure. Sadly I didn’t have more time or I’ll defo extend my hrs.
It’s a humble shop with 5 mattresses body massage and 7 chairs for foot massage. Staff was helpful and friendly. Invited us to sit down, and gave us sufficient time to look through the menu. We just had to wait for about 10min for the masseurs to come (probably from another shop).
The place was kept at zero to low volume. Masseurs don’t chitchat with one another which I really dislike, cuz when they start talking their hands get distracted 90% of the time.
Clean, place with soft ambient lights. 10/10 to the whole shop + staff! Our masseurs’ name...
